We purchased a Ford Edge 2016 Titanium from Cam Clark Ford North Vancouver in December 2019. The sales team was kind and supportive, our purchase was complete without any problems. We kept using this dealer’s service department for our vehicle’s routine maintenances. We didn’t have any kind of problem with our car or their service department until our last maintenance on October 13,2021 which was needed for the replacement of a part related to the recall issued by Ford in August 2020 on Edge 2016 series. They also replaced a part related to an oil leakage they found on our previous maintenance in July 2021 for which we had to wait again for the parts to arrive. When we bring our car for these replacements on Oct 13rd, we also asked them to perform the regular maintenance since it would be due in a short period because we were close to the milage milestone. They kept the car overnight and called us to pick it up on Thursday Oct 14th late afternoon. We didn’t realize the weird sound coming from the engine when we first picked up the car, maybe we didn’t pay attention. Afterall, the car was just out of a series of diagnostics and check-ups for which we had to pay $2,700 with the replacements including the brake pads and rotor, which was a last-minute finding after going through those diagnostics. But the next day, on Friday evening, it was obvious that there was something wrong, there was a loud disturbing sound coming from the engine, especially when the car was running in idle mode, which didn’t exist previously. It was after hours when we find that out, and we have been informed that the service team was not on duty when we called the dealership on Saturday morning. So, we had to take our car back to Cam Clark first thing on Monday morning which was last week. They still have our car, they say there was something wrong with the transmission but does not say anything further, except that they will be keeping the car for a couple more weeks, that they may need to replace another part and they are in contact with Ford, and we may have to pay 1/3rd of the bill. They gave us a substitute car, which is good but the whole process is frustrating. We’re having a hard time understanding how a problem this serious could happen right after the car was out from maintenance, went through a series of diagnostics and was not noticed and how could the car have been delivered without a last point road testing which was “performed” according to their report card. It was impossible not to notice that noise during a road test for a couple of listening, professional ears. Where we stand in dark with suspense right now, we do not recommend service from Cam Clark Lincoln, North Vancouver. More

Then Sarah called to confirm what needed to be done and when finished called me to give me confirmation of servicing finished. Stacy called again to let me know when they were coming to deliver my car back and everything was done with the always friendly but professional attitude and I think everyone represents Cam Clark Ford Lincoln very well. Before they left, Dwayne went over the completed service order with me. Excellent service from everyone. I actually look forward to seeing Stacy each time as she always makes me feel she really cares that everything was done to my satisfaction. I have complete trust in her. More
