Buyer beware of extended warranty Bought our truck from Bow Valley Ford back in 2012. Went to get warranty work done on our truck only to find out the $5300.00 we paid on extended warranty did not get put onto our truck. Been trying for 3 years to get this problem rectified, talking to Derek (who is no longer employed there) and Stephanie who promised us answers and upon calling her "she has no idea what I'm talking about and must've been away when this problem arose" Needless to say DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR YOUR VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS IT'S LIKELY A SCAM TO GET EXTRA MONEY IN SOMEONES POCKET!!!! I've even tried to call Ford Canada and they can't provide me with any answers because it's warranty through the dealership. What a complete and udder nightmare this has been to deal with!! Going on 4+ years trying to deal with this and still no answers!!!! Have to add in here though that their service department is outstanding without them we never would've known that we in fact had paid for extended warranty that now seems non existant!! More
