Once I had decided which one I wanted Brent Vargo Took over the financing part.He was very helpful and very informative. ..In the end I did end up paying way over my budget with all the hidden cost the car was quoted at $13998 my final cost was closer to $20000 but overall the employees were great. I ended up having some mecganical issues 2 days later and called up Brent. He was understanding and had me bring the car in and took care of it. More

Felt like a common bait and switch trick on a new vehicle!! Be careful!! You arrange a deal at a price, however the features you agreed to was not the same on the written deal, when you inquire for vehicle!! Be careful!! We found our car on CMP's website and upon arriving at the dealership on a snowy Saturday morning to view the car, Robert came out immediately and showed the car to us, went with us on a test drive and at the dealership on a snowy Saturday morning to view the car, Robert came out immediately and showed the car to us, went with us on a test drive and made the final sale. We didn't care for the tires on the car and was reassured by Robert they would be changed to our liking (and this was done). Met with the finance manager and were on our way home within 2 hours. After about a month and a half , say late August I started to notice the pedal pulsating when stopping my truck. Strange , I thought a vehicle that has been certified under Optimum Warranty and with less than 5,000 km on it and the brakes are going already ? I also purchased an extended warranty which I was told was a "bumper to bumper" warranty should anything go wrong by the staff at CMP on 36th St. I was also told that I could service the truck at any "CMP" dealership including Shaw GMC on Blackfoot which is reasonably close to where I live. 1) After several attempts to get it in for service , finally I brought the truck in for service on September 26th, 2013(Job #T3850 , 54992km odometer) . Donna contacted me on the afternoon of the 26th and stated that I had two options ;1) change the oil and pick up the truck that afternoon and re-book the brake job, or 2) leave the vehicle overnight and have the brakes fixed and pick it up the next afternoon. I wanted the brakes fixed so I wanted to leave it overnight. She informed that the brake job would not be covered and I would have to pay for the service costs of roughly $110. This was helpful as I contacted CMP and Charles Appleby in Sales. "No he didn't have the authority to help me , but call Mel the used car sale manager". After calling Mel and Mel explaining that there was "no warranty" on brakes , I paid the $110. So where should I begin; The Optimum warranty that I was told came with the car was a "90 day or 5,000km " warranty was usless. The bumper to bumper warranty that I purchased in addition was also useless. 2) So I am suppose to rate the overall experience at CMP , my buying experience , it was not a good experience. Would I recommend this dealership to other friends and associates looking to buy a vehicle ; No. 3) I only have had two other experiences ; Advantage Ford and Shagganappi GM and I have to say the other experiences were "seamless" from point A-Z. There were always minor issues but they were resolved ...So why am I taking the time to write this ? Well, as a consumer I purchased three trucks from Advantage Ford and I would recommend Ford to my friends who are looking at buying a truck. I can't say that I would recommend CMP or CMP Shaw to people based on my experience so far. I'm not going out of my way to slug a GM dealership , I merely reflecting on the sales experience , it wouldn't matter if it were GM, Toyota , or Ford !!! More
