We travelled two hours in a snow storm from Toronto with our mechanic. We had called ahead to ask them to have the car ready. When we arrived the salesman Bruce did not even know what vehicle we were there to see. When we walked out to the lot the car was still covered in snow. Bruce was unable to answer any questions about the car and left us for 15 minutes while he went inside the dealership. We expected he was retrieving plates for a test drive. When he returned he had no plates and told us we were not allowed to test drive the vehicle. We felt the salesman was completely disinterested and they are completely uninterested in discussing price. After writing about a 3 page email to the owner Phil, I received only an arbitrary "we will get back to you" response which never infact happened. Stay away from CMH Auto and avoid the disappointment of a dealership that doesn't want to sell you the car you want to own. More
AS TRADED means NO DEAL NO TEST JUST BUY! I called about a reasonably priced used saab vehicle. It was advertised as traded and not certified. I offered to pay the full asking price no quest I called about a reasonably priced used saab vehicle. It was advertised as traded and not certified. I offered to pay the full asking price no questions asked if I could have the car safety checked first. I said if the safety requirements were reasonable and not way overpriced I would still pay the asking price. I was willing to pay for the safety so either way it cost them nothing. The response from the sales person was a flat out no. Buy it and then take it where you want for a safety and it could also not leave the yard for a road test. They do have dealer plates so I see no reason for not allowing a road test. You would have to wonder if they sell as traded vehicles knowing there are major problems and just want to unload the vehicle onto the first sucker that comes in. The sales person's name was Mike and this was Sat. May 17th in the morning. More
