Service Area I took my new Altima in to have a strap on the underside that had come down, checked. I was due to have a oil change and tire maintenance, and since I I took my new Altima in to have a strap on the underside that had come down, checked. I was due to have a oil change and tire maintenance, and since I was the first in line that morning, they took me right away. No problem, the strap was fixed no charge. I was under the impression that the oil was synth, but was advised it was not, (but could option that if I so chose), and the cost to do that maintenance was very affordable. When completed, the Technician presented me with a 99,000 checkpoint report, (!), and advised that the tires did not need to be rotated. I had snowies on it from the day after I purchased it to the beginning of May, but the computer reads KM's and rightly tells the driver when it is appropriate. All I was charged for was the oil change, and that made my long weekend even better!! More
