Hi Andy, we sincerely apologize for your experience. We were mortified to hear your comments so have conducted a full investigation into what happened; hopefully you feel a little better after we shed some light on this. In regards to not viewing your vehicle, Jeff actually did do a walk-around while you were out in the pre-owned Corolla in order to verify that it was in the same condition as the photos you had included in your email (which we used for the initial appraisal), so that we could confirm and honour the quote we had sent to you prior to your visit. We use market value pricing here at Brantford Toyota so that there is no need to negotiate for the best price. We offer our best price upfront and we apologize if Jeff did not adequately explain our pricing model to you. Jeff does feel horrible that your experience was not the best as he felt the numerous emails and back-and-forth phone calls (including conversations on his scheduled day off) were leading to a better relationship than this. We apologize again for your experience, and would be happy to honour the quote which Jeff had sent you should you still wish to move forward.

******** Reading your response has left me wondering if anyone @ Brantford Toyota knows how to read. Stating that "Brantford Toyota conducted a full investigation". It is clear to me that "No one" read or put any further thought into my email providing feedback to Brantford Toyota. 1. Sales staff corresponded with me on their day off, not at my request (Sales staff's own decision). 2. Prior to me taking the Brantford Toyota Car for a test drive, I offered the Sales staff the keys to my vehicle. Brantford Toyota could inspect my vehicle but Sales staff refused. 3. Brantford Toyota does not have a "Do Not Negotiate Policy" posted on the website (unless hidden). A friend of mine recommended Brantford Toyota and traded a Ford F150 plus negotiated the price. 4. As I took my Dog with me on the test drive, there was no objection from Brantford Toyota. So why are you adding this in the response? 5. FYI. I just purchased a New Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE. 6. My name is NOT "Andy". Brantford Toyota has a copy of my Driver's license. This I want Brantford Toyota to destroy and not retain. Confirm the copy has been destroyed. If you have managed to read to this point, I will sign off with my name which is not "Andy". ******

Hello Manpreet, we do apologize for not being able to sell you a vehicle. Unfortunately given the current climate, we are unable to sell a vehicle without an in-person visit to the dealership in order to verify your identities to protect both you and the dealership. In addition, there are several tax implications and licensing issues that arise in an out-of-province deal that never seem to go smoothly. We do hope you can understand our position, and hope you find a dealer that can meet your needs.

When we met and discovered we were unable to meet your expectations, we immediately waived all diagnostic fees and offered to deliver your unit to a Toyota dealer of your choice at our cost. Although the vehicle was drivable, we still called a flatbed tow truck at your request to have the vehicle delivered.
