My daughter ordered a car last year. Inspite of many assurances the car never arrived. In January 2024 we were informed that the car had arrived and cleared customs. The car never arrive Inspite of many assurances the car never arrived. In January 2024 we were informed that the car had arrived and cleared customs. The car never arrived. In the mean time the price of the car was also increased. The price increase was blamed on Kia Canada. The management also gave conflicting information to us at various points in time. Avoid this dealership. More
I have been trying for a month to get Brantford KIA to inspect my 2016 Forte5T for inspection of possible brake line corrosion under a Company safety recall. I've tried on 3 occasions to get a call back f inspect my 2016 Forte5T for inspection of possible brake line corrosion under a Company safety recall. I've tried on 3 occasions to get a call back from their service department ...... crickets. Getting nowhere I tried 3 times to get assistance from the KIA Canada website. Again ...... more crickets! They obviously know how to turn customer service into an oxymoron. More
Recently brought my Santa Fe back to Brantford Kia as I have been experiencing trouble with my transmission. I have had the vehicle for just over a year now, and had noticed a couple of concerns regarding have been experiencing trouble with my transmission. I have had the vehicle for just over a year now, and had noticed a couple of concerns regarding the transmission when I first bought it. I was assured that it had been looked over by a transmission specialist and there were no concerns. A year later, and it is now slipping gears and making a loud BANG noise when I am reversing into a parking spot, or turning left. I was very concerned for mine and my daughters safety. I originally took it to Canadian tire for a diagnosis and a work order was written up. Because I have a warranty, I took it then to Brantford Kia. I dropped my Santa Fe off to them 2 weeks ago and had requested a loaner car as I am not living in Brantford. Conner told me they didn’t have a lot of loaners currently, but I was assured the car though it was older, was sanitized and would get me “from a to b”. The car I received was an absolute mess. Not only did it have over 219000 km on it, but the engine light was on, it was dented, scratched, the seats were stained, the car was filthy, the a/c didn’t work, one of the back windows wouldn’t go down, and it sounded like the ball joints needed replacing. I was embarrassed and disgusted by this as I had my 9 yr old daughter with me and felt very unsafe in the car. The day after dropping my car off, I was told by Connor that there was nothing wrong with it. It had been taken for a test drive and no issues were experienced with the gears changing. I asked about the other issues I had mentioned that were on the work order, such as the loud bang. Connor seemed confused and said he would ask and call back. 3 days later my hubby called to ask about the status as we hadn’t heard back. He was told again that the car had been taken for a drive and no issues were reported. He asked why the work order from Canadian tire that stated the issues hadn’t been looked at. Again, assured there were no issues other than a leak from one of the drive axel gaskets. He was told that warranty would be contacted to see if it was covered but no other work would be done. Another week went by without communication, and I was very frustrated at this point and driving around in a very unsafe car with my daughter. I contacted Kia again and was told that the gasket would be covered by Kia and they were waiting for the part. I then told Connor that I would be by to pickup my car later that day as it was clear that my concerns were not being addressed. I knew that my car had sat for 2 weeks at Kia with nothing diagnosed even though it was covered by warranty. Connor politely said ok it will be ready. The customer service I received here was appalling. I felt manipulated, unheard and disrespected. I will never recommend this place to anyone More

Had the pleasure of working with Grant who was very friendly, easy to chat with, and made the purchase experience seamless. I highly recommend working with him if you get a chance. We recently took the car in for a service check up and Connor was great. They were on time, priced competitively, and made me feel valued. What more can you ask for? More
Took my 2014 Soul for engine replacement under warranty. Noticed license plate bracket damaged. - was fine when I brought the car in for service. I had to force them to admit that it MAY have their fault Noticed license plate bracket damaged. - was fine when I brought the car in for service. I had to force them to admit that it MAY have their fault. - REALLY? About a month later, I changed the oil and saw that the under engine shroud was missing. It was there when the car was brought in for service. They claim that they didn't have this part after they changed the engine and expect me to pay for a replacement. THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! So you bring in a complete car and get it back with parts damaged or missing and fault not being accepted by dealership. Guess I won't be going back to BRANTFORD KIA ever again! More
We took our Niro to the service department because there was a check hybrid system light on the dash. The vehicle has 16,000 km and is obviously under warranty. The service manager said there was nothing wr was a check hybrid system light on the dash. The vehicle has 16,000 km and is obviously under warranty. The service manager said there was nothing wrong and that he cleared the code and charged us $140. We drove the car home, and on the way the check system light cam on again. I'm not sure what we can do now. We will have to try a dealer in a different city I guess.I would suggest you avoid these guys at all cost. More
