Defective battery We have a 2009 Ford Edge. We have just replaced our battery again. This is the 4th battery for this vehicle. The original battery failed in 2011. Sinc We have a 2009 Ford Edge. We have just replaced our battery again. This is the 4th battery for this vehicle. The original battery failed in 2011. Since it was under warranty, it was replaced free of charge. This battery failed in 2014. Since we received the second one free, we had to pay for this one. This battery failed this past week. After several discussions with Brant County Ford, which we were told we had to pay for this battery. They finally found where we did indeed pay for the last battery. We did tell them we would bring in our receipts to prove we had paid for it. So, don't replace your battery with them and make sure you have your receipts, since they will try to make you pay for something under warranty.. More
