I was nervous to bring my truck in for its service after reading the previous reviews, but i figured who would know my truck better then Ford techs themselves. I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by my service adviser Jessica. She was very polite and kind. She advised me of services that were due, but at the time i could not afford them. She was not pushy, and was very kind when I told her no thank you. I left my vehicle there for a few hours. Jessica called me updating me on how my vehicle was doing, and gave me a time to come in and pick it up. I showed up to pick up my vehicle at the given time, and everything was all ready to go. She went over my invoice with me, explaining what had been done. She was very clear and knowledgeable on the services that were done. My total bill was exactly what she had told me, no surprises. My vehicle was washed and parked up front. My whole experience was excellent. After reading the previous negative reviews again, I totally disagree. No one took advantage of me, and i did not feel pressured. If you ask the appropriate questions, you will get the answers you need, and all my questions were answered with 'integrity' and with honesty. If you don't understand, ask. If you don't, you will feel left behind, and find yourself writing a bad review. What ever review you read, find out for yourself, and see how great Brant County Ford is. This dealership is excellent in every aspect!! More

I tried to book service at a local shop in town, but they were too busy to take me in. A friend of mine suggested I try Brant County, So I called them and they offered to 'squeeze' me in. Before booking I had read some of the reviews; and, to be honest, I was a little skeptical when I read a few of the negative reviews posted but, I figured I really needed to get my car in, and in all fairness to them, perhaps the bad service reviews were from difficult / impossible to please type of customers that just complain for the sake of getting attention. I realize there are always two sides to every story, so I figured I'd give these guys a fair chance. Sure enough, my suspicions about these poor reviews were true - they were totally unfounded. I'm so glad I gave Brant County a chance to look after me. The Service was top rate and my advisor was so helpful that I felt nothing was over looked. Thank you Jay, for being so understanding to a customer that showed up without an appointment and needed help. I will gladly recommend these guys to all my family and friends. Part of the reason I wanted to post this review was to say 'Thank You' for helping out a guy that was in a bind. You guys are fantastic !! More
Happy customer I recently went to Brant County Ford for the first time and was so happy with the experience I had there. I didn’t have an appointment booked but need I recently went to Brant County Ford for the first time and was so happy with the experience I had there. I didn’t have an appointment booked but needed my vehicle to be seen as soon as possible. The staff let me know the shop was going into their lunch hour but they would see if they could help me out. My advisor came back and let me know that a mechanic was going to stay and look at my vehicle for me. I offered to come back later in the day but they told me it was no problem at all and they wanted to help. My vehicle went into their shop as soon as I handed my keys over and in less than 45 minutes I had an update. I don’t know a ton about cars or mechanics but my advisor broke it down for me so I could easily understand what was wrong and what needed to be done. After reading a review posted by another customer that said she felt vulnerable being a woman in a mechanic shop I really have to say my experience was so different. I saw the advisors handle other customers during my time there as well as handle me and at no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and I knew all of my options. I want to say thank you to the service department at Brant County Ford. This will be my go to mechanic shop from now on. I have nothing but good things to say. Please keep up the great service, many customers do really appreciate it! Jennifer More

Service - Lacks Integrity Took my Ford Edge in because I needed a headlight bulb replaced and a warning message had come up indicating the system could not locate the car key. Took my Ford Edge in because I needed a headlight bulb replaced and a warning message had come up indicating the system could not locate the car key. Rather than be honest as a vehicle service provider and suggest the most obvious and likely solution related to the dash warning message (a key fob battery replacement ) they asked me to agree to an hour long diagnostic test ($129) on their specialized equipment. I asked “What choice do I have?” The staff laughed it off saying “ Oh I know, I have a car too”. The total cost today for a light bulb replacement and $3 key fob battery replacement was $371.51 I explained this seemed like robbery and asked why wasn’t I given the option of replacing the battery? The manager argued “But you agreed to the diagnostic testing”.. Yes because the option of trying a battery replacement first was not offered when I asked “what choice do I have?” I paid the full fee and will not be returning to Brant County Ford. More
Staff lack integrity - Service isn't what it used to be After my ford escape failed an emission test, I went to Brant County Ford with documentation in hand. Told by service staff that only Ford can read t After my ford escape failed an emission test, I went to Brant County Ford with documentation in hand. Told by service staff that only Ford can read the codes on the paperwork to confirm what was wrong with the car, I paid $146.34 for them to read the code and tell me they wanted $1146.65 for a part they would order from California and another $129.50 X 2 hours labor to fix the car. Later, I find out that Brand County Ford are not a drive clean facility and in order to get a conditional pass. I would have to take the car to a drive clean facility and pay anther $162.00 plus tax to get the information necessary to get the conditional pass. I also found out that Ford are not the only ones who can read the codes of their cars... A conditional pass can be given for a vehicle that fails an emission test and it is based on the amount of money to repair the car . If the cost exceeds $460.00 to repair the car, a conditional pass can be given - but only by a drive clean facility, which Brant County Ford are not and did not have the decency to tell me before taking my money. I feel that this is unfair practice by Brant County Ford - that they were more eager to get my money than be honest and forthcoming enough to direct me to the appropriate place to address the issue I was facing. I spoke to the service manager, D. Ensell. who refused to hear or understand my complaint. he refused to give my money back. Mr. Ensell began to lie and create a story to fit his lies. He continued to ignore the complaint and was determined to accuse me of taking the failed emission test on him - childish and textbook manipulation... He told me not to return to the location - even if I wanted to buy a car from them, they wouldn't sell me one. I spoke to Mr. C. Gilholm who also refused - said he could easily give me back the $146.22, but he wouldn't out of spite. Although he agreed that $146.22 of his money was enough for him to be upset about, he wasn't interested in giving it back to me. He refused to recognize that Brant County Ford took my money knowing full well that the diagnoses should have been done elsewhere - that their diagnoses was of no value in the case of a failed emission test, and they should have referred me to the GMC dealer just up the road who has the drive clean facility and could help with the failed emission test result. The lack of integrity is frightening! He told me he'd welcome our business in buying a new car but nothing more, was he willing to do. That he'd rather I file a complaint with the BBB than give back the money, which to a Ford dealer is nothing compared to most working class folk. When I told him I would file a complaint with the BBB, he told me to be sure and spell his name right and hung up as I asked him for his last name. Bad attitude is an understatement. If you go to a paint store looking for an ice paint, is it not a total lack of integrity for the clerk to sell you a paint that is not meant to be used on ice? Should the clerk not direct you to the store that sells the paint that will meet your needs and purpose? Selling rust paint when a person requires ice pant lacks integrity. Blaming the customer, lacks serious integrity. This applies to any service all the time. What a terrible shame it is that men still treat women so badly by taking advantage and taking us for fools in the automotive world. What a terrible shame it is to see the low rating that Brant County Ford is struggling with here, and yet so clearly eager to continue behaving in such a way to eventually cripple itself with more bad reviews. We own 2 ford cars right now. We've been driving a ford for many many years. Whether I buy another Ford in the future, is yet to be decided; however, if we do so, I am %100 sure it wont be from Brant County Ford on Lynden Road in Brantford, Ontario I will not contact the owner of Brant County Ford, as I see no point in doing so. After having dealt with the two Mr's previously mentioned, this Mrs. is sure her complaint will only fall again on deaf ears. Furthermore, if he's trained his staff, it would be more stress and a less than fruitful or worthwhile endeavor to bother. I will file a BBB complaint and be sure to share my experience everywhere and as often as I can. More

In the process, they damaged the roof and did not fix the spoiler properly. When they repainted the spoiler and painted the roof, they managed to leave dirty hand marks on the trim inside the rear hatch and they had not tightened one of the bolts holding the rear bumper They also did not get a good fit on the fuel cap. After all of this, I noticed that the rear hatch was rubbing on the rear bumper. They now tell me that they are going to paint the rear bumper and hatch. Not very good quality work from both the dealer and Ford. More
