The used car dept. of Boyer in Ajax lives up to the used car salesman stereotype. I purchased a 2020 Blazer from Boyer. Here's a list of what I went through: 1. The of Boyer in Ajax lives up to the used car salesman stereotype. I purchased a 2020 Blazer from Boyer. Here's a list of what I went through: 1. The car smelled of cigarette smoke and the salesman told me he would personally aerosol "bomb" it and the smell would be gone. When I picked it up 3 days later he had put 6 car fox air fresheners around the inside of the vehicle. I took them out and sure enough the cigarette smell was just as strong. He would return 2 phone calls, a text message or email. He passed my complaint to Joanne Purves in the service dept. She called me and arranged for me to drop the SUV off for 2 days. Joanne and the service dept. are 5 stars. I've been using the Boyer service dept. for a few years and will continue to take my vehicles there. 2. During the past 17 years I've driven a Jimmy and Silverado and always had good year round tires on them and have never had to think about winter tires. I mentioned the tires to the salesman and he told me they were all season and good in the snow. The day I picked up the Blazer we had 3cm of snow and this thing was spinning and fish tailing all over the place. I spent $1,600.00 on new rims and tires (not at Boyer). I should have done my due diligence on the tires and I'll own part of the blame. 3. I was told I could pick up my vehicle on the Friday after I purchased it on the Tuesday. I love in town and noticed the vehicle did not move from the parking spot I put it in after my test drive. The salesman told me it was in for safety and getting a few minor repairs. Turns out the safety was done 2 weeks before I purchased it and had rear toe link, oil change and computerized wheel balancing on Feb.24th. I purchased it the beginning of March. Lets move onto the finance dept. I traded in a 2020 Silverado for very close to what I wanted. The existing loan and lien was supposed to be taken care by the Boyer finance guy. Told me not to worry about it I was in good hands...he used to work for TD. One week after I purchased my used vehicle a loan payment for the Silverado came out of my account. I spoke to TD auto finance and was told Boyer finance dept. had to take care of it. I called the finance guy and he assured me he would look after it. 2 weeks later I still haven't received the credit back to my account and a 2nd bi weekly payment comes out. The finance guy assures me he'll look after it...again. I have no confidence in him and obviously his word means squat. I cc'd the GM on an email indicating I was going to place a lien on the Silverado until such time that my account was credited for the 2 payments. Mr. McMurray does in 1 day what the finance guy promised me he would do 3 weeks prior. The GM asked me to come in and see if there was something he could do to help ease my unfortunate situation with his dealership. I haven't taken him up on the offer yet. My recommendation after my experience at Boyer Ajax. Don't by a used car from Boyer Ajax...Avoid dealing with the incompetent finance guy at Boyer Ajax...and if you need good reliable service go in to Boyer Ajax and see Joanne Purves. More

I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Orlando in October 2022. The price was decent and I was specifically looking for an Orlando. When I got the car home I noticed that there wasn't a windshield wiper on the The price was decent and I was specifically looking for an Orlando. When I got the car home I noticed that there wasn't a windshield wiper on the back window. I called Boyer to inform them and I was told I would have to make an appointment with the service dept. Seriously, for a five minute repair! Also, a short three weeks later the engine light came on. I took the car to my regular mechanic in Nestleton. The car had zero oil in it. It was thoroughly checked for an oil leak which turned up negative. There was no way the car had an oil change at Boyer prior to purchase. It was also in need of a tune up at the same time. All of this to say that , Boyer was careless with this vehicle prior to my pick up time. No windshield wiper....no oil...and in need of a tune up already! I will not return to Boyer for service or to buy another vehicle from them. Truly disappointing. More
Thank you Trent Mazerolle and Vandusen/Boyer Chevrolet Ajax for another smooth transaction. A few dealerships around the area offered a factory order 2023 Bolt EV for a little cheaper but we decided to go Ajax for another smooth transaction. A few dealerships around the area offered a factory order 2023 Bolt EV for a little cheaper but we decided to go with Trent again. We originally bought our 2016 Volt from here and now the time is come to embrace full electrification. Happy with our 2023 Bolt EV. Communication was done mostly through email and Trent was responsive and kept me up to date from order to the day of delivery A+++. For all your EVfactory order EV needs. More

I have been going to this dealership for about 5 years now with my 2017 chevy corvette which i bought new in 2017. a year after i bought the car, one of the rims had a crack from inside and was leaking ai now with my 2017 chevy corvette which i bought new in 2017. a year after i bought the car, one of the rims had a crack from inside and was leaking air. I thought it was a manufacturing issue since there was no damage on the rim and would be covered under warranty. They didn't cover it under warranty and the service manager Jason told me I must have gone over a pothole at high speed. i paid for 1200 for the rim at that time. A year later the car went to the dealership again for an exhaust leak issue, they kept the car for a month. In the time when the car was in their possession, another rim got a crack and started leaking air. This time the tech told me "don't worry, this is a very common issue with these vettes, we will change your rim under warranty.". I was very displeased to hear this since they had made me pay for a new rim one year ago. I did a claim for the refund which was denied. I was never given a reason for denial. Fast forward to summer 2022, my same car had been to this dealership for variety of issues fixed under warranty. I took it back there for a shifting issue. The tranny tech went for a test drive with me; however, the drive was perfect, and the car didn't misbehave at all. The tech suggested, I leave my car for tranny software update. I did and picked it up 6 hours later at the end of the day. When i drove off, i started hearing a sound coming from the tires. i didn't stop as i had to get home. picked up the car at 530. i was going to movies at 730 with my kids. so i thought ill check the sound when i get home. I checked the tires at home and saw they were completely worn out at the point of wires coming out. i went back to the dealership and was told i had to wait for the service manager Jason to come back from vacation. a week later, this imbecilic Jason started laughing in my face when i asked him if he could do something about this. He told me that i had no credibility at this dealership. we had a shouting match in his office. once i left from there, i got GM canada involved. I was suppose to get a call back from the advisor but weeks passed and nothing. I started tweeting at the GM Canada. That is when someone sent me a message on twitter and said they will look into this. I never got a call from any Customer care advisor to hear my side of the story. Just the messages and pics i shared on twitter. Based off that, after months of rigorous investigation. They came back with the decision that my claim had no merit and i was informed of the worn tires when i picked up the car that day. (no one said a word to me, i was given the key and i left). I spoke to my lawyer after this and he told me get the name of the person who according to GM Canada informed me of the worn tires. I emailed the Customer care advisor asking this info, who didn't reply to my email or voicemails for a few days. When i finally got her on the phone, she didn't know who the person was who informed me of the worn tires. So i guess Gm Canada's investigation consisted of calling the service manager and asking him his side of the story. wait a month and tell the customer the decision. I asked the customer care advisor to get me the name of the person who the dealership claims told me about my worn tires when i picked up the car. She said it's not her problem and i have to call the dealership myself. This dealership is the worst, the service manager Jason is a jealous xxxxx and the whole Boyer group (I emailed each and every one of them regarding this including the General manager of the dealership, but no one bothered reaching out to me). Gm Canada is no better. Useless and horrible customer service. I am going to pursue this in court now. There are other people in the dealership who are really nice like Bill (service advisor). If you ever have to deal with Jason the service manager, keep recording because no one believes you at this dealership or GM Canada for that matter if you don't have video evidence. More
