Leggat Blue Mountain Honda DISCRIMINATES AGAINST WOMEN! !!! 25 Nov 7 - Vehicle brought in for inspection for intermittent rear end shimmy and clunking. • Technician, Sam, denied me a ride along to demons !!! 25 Nov 7 - Vehicle brought in for inspection for intermittent rear end shimmy and clunking. • Technician, Sam, denied me a ride along to demonstrate the vibrations, did not put vehicle on hoist and inspect manually as requested, and told me to take video of the vibrations. • Emailed Service Manager, Ian Thiessen, complained about discrimination and service. Response to me dismissed my concerns and I was told the technician is licensed with years of experience, as if my knowledge and concerns are invalid. 25 Nov 8 - Emailed rebuke of response to my concerns. Inquired why I still wasn't offered a ride along. NO RESPONSE. • Drove around for hours trying to video record the shimmy. Captured significant footage and sent to Service Manager, Ian Tniessen. NO RESPONSE. 25 Nov 9 - Emailed Branch Manager, Dayn Kramp, forwarding correspondences with Service Manager. 25 Nov 11 - Response from Manager, Dayn Kramp, scheduling a meeting for following day. 25 Nov 12 - Met with Manager Dayn Kramp who defended male employees and blamed FEMALE employees at the counter for not passing on request for ride along. AFTER I forwarded him communication with Service Manager, Ian Thiessen, where Ian confirms the request was passed on and expresses confusion for why I was denied a ride along. Dayn said that because Ian wasn't talking about sex that it wasn't inappropriate. (Paraphrasing from audio recording made of meeting). • Agreed to ride along where I was able to demonstrate shimmy and rear end clunking. Vehicle kept over night for escalation to Senior Technician, Frank. 25 Nov 13 - Manager Dayn Kramp sent a shuttle to my place to retrieve my other key because the one they had wouldn't turn on my vehicle. The key that didn't work was paid for on Oct 12 to be repaired. The battery was replaced but the key was not fixed. THE KEY IS STILL NOT FIXED. 25 Nov 14 - Went on ride along with Senior Technician, Frank where he told me 6 times how much experience he has and how well he knows my vehicle, as if I my lack of certification means that I don't know enough automotive to be taken seriously. • Made comments 5 times about people being picky, wanting everything 100%, and expecting an older vehicle to drive like a new one, when I expressed concern for the slipping I feel in my transmission. • Told me slight notching in front u joint safe and to wait until it shakes like crazy to replace. • Told me shudder in torque converter safe and also to wait until it shudders like crazy to replace. • Tires feathered, recommended I continue to drive until tread indicates replacement, even though I asked 2 times about the cost of rims and tires I was interested in purchasing. • Told that the 3 L flush/filled Sam recommended and I paid to have done, won't help my transmission due to high mileage and suggested taking my vehicle elsewhere to have the transmission properly and fully flushed/filled. (Everything audio recorded). • Emailed Dayn Kramp, complained about the key being returned to me still not working, that I did not get the information for the rims and tires I wanted to buy, and my displeasure of the situation in general. 25 Nov 17 - Manager Dayn Kramp responded by saying he sees no evidence of discrimination "of any kind" and wished me well with my vehicle. No key repair. No rim/tire info. Nothing but dismissed. I got under my vehicle and took photos and video of the areas that were reported to be worked on .... I have reason to believe that what was said to have been done was not. The bolts attaching components in question have no marks or signs of being touched, let alone being removed. We just purchased our vehicle from Blue Mountain Honda. Our sales person was Matt, and what a delight it was having him assist and guide us. We took our time and visited other dealerships, investigating other vehicles, all the while Matt patiently allowed us to fulfill our needs. Matt welcomed us back and ensured we were happy with our investigation. He patiently reviewed our interest and gave us the opportunity to view other vehicles at his dealership so that we had no doubts in our purchase. He worked diligently to fulfill and assist us with certain things we requested. It was a great pleasure dealing with Matt. We did not feel pressured and enjoyed his attention to matters. I have been to Blue Mountain Honda at least 3/4 times since I purchased my Honda CRV in Fall of 2021. Even though I did not purchase my vehicle at BMH, both Service representatives that I have dealt wit since I purchased my Honda CRV in Fall of 2021. Even though I did not purchase my vehicle at BMH, both Service representatives that I have dealt with there have been professional, courteous, informative, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They have also dealt with my vehicle quickly when I have had emergency repairs. They have went over and above with customer service. More
I took my CRV in for a brake service. I had put the newest tires on the front in the spring because they wear faster (I’ve driven the vehicle 90,000 kms so should know). When I picked it up the newer tires were on the back. When I complained the service rep Billy said that the back tires wear faster in my vehicle so the mechanic put the newer tires on the back. How stupid does he think I am? Eventually they rotated the tires. This wasn’t my first issue with this dealership. More

New Car Purchase I got the deal I was looking for when I came by in the summer to buy a new car. I dealt with Mr. Derek Gray, I found him knowledgeable and the interac I got the deal I was looking for when I came by in the summer to buy a new car. I dealt with Mr. Derek Gray, I found him knowledgeable and the interaction was relaxed. I have had no problems with them except when I went back 6 months later to pick up the winter tires I had bought with the car. I was told that the dealership would hold onto the set until I was ready to switch, and I could come get them in the winter. I found myself passing through Collingwood on a recent Friday (I work and live about an hour away) and stopped by to get them. I was asked at the counter if I had called ahead to arrange it; I hadn't been informed this was necessary. Apparently my tires were being stored elsewhere and I wad told no can do, come back on Monday. This was annoying because I am seldom in Collingwood. Somebody ought to have told me I'd need to arrange ahead of time to pick up my tires. More
