The police came knocking to my home in the middle of the sleep to interrogate me about speeding, but thank God, they just warned me. BHW's malicious intention against me didn't succeed that night. Btw, honda has a speeding culture and they promote speed as evidenced by their promotion of racing internally and externally, fast moving honda's in snowy back roads, checkered flag, honda racing uniform and many more. In fact when I used to work for them in 2018 to 2019, one of the pre delivery inspection mechanic told me he took a brand new type r to 180 kmh when he did the delivery inspection in a 70 zone. More
I almost never leave reviews positive or negative for any product, service, or experience. I usually value my time too much to bother. But, the experience I had with Elison at Birchwood Honda has left me so product, service, or experience. I usually value my time too much to bother. But, the experience I had with Elison at Birchwood Honda has left me so incredibly frustrated. Going into the dealership can often be an intimidating experience especially if you are a women and even more so if you do not have a man to come along with you. A study from Yale has actually shown that car dealers will quote a lower price for males than for females. For the sake of time and since my partner was not available to come with me, I was communicating with Elison via text on the best price for a 2024 Honda Odyssey (for any trim they had on the floor). Rather than give me his best price immediately, he strung me into a text exchange for 3 hours, asking me to come in to see the vehicle. I told him I'd already test driven it at Crown. He asked me about a trade in vehicle and whether I'd received a trade-in value at Crown. I told him no, but I had been following what the prices are on the private market as I have always sold my used vehicles that way. He insisted that I send him pictures of my 2012 vehicle (even though I had not asked to have the trade in value assessed). I went to get my car washed and I cleaned the inside. I took a video. As I wanted to be honest as possible, I pointed out the few spots of rust and issues with the vehicle but overall it's in great shape with low mileage. After all that, Elison does not even give me the courtesy of a trade-in value amount and tells me to sell it privately. I ask him if he's finally going to give me a price for a 2024 Odyssey. Once again he's asking about trim level (any trim level on the floor!). Then he tells me that the price will be the same as it was at Crown Honda. I never told him I got a price at Crown Honda only that I went to test drive one there. So I still don't know what the best price is for the van. When I push him again for an actual number, he says "best price is what we have online" and that "you want to compare it with Crown it will be the same". I tell him I'm not interested and that he wasted 3 hours of my time for something that would have taken a few seconds to send in response to my first text. He writes "I normally go by appointment and meet clients in person not through text messages. Sorry, I have 5 appointments today and still managed to assist you". He's the one that initiated text communication with me first! If this was a problem, why did he choose to reach out to me by text in the first place? Elison did not assist me. Assistance would have been not wasting 3 hours of my time to find out that the best price was the price online or the price at Crown. To note, never once did Elison actually offer an actual $ amount for the cost of a 2024 Honda Odyssey. For the women and the moms out there looking for minivans (that's the target population ;), save your valuable time and the headache and go somewhere else. More
If you need to purchase a lemon with an extended warranty that will never be fulfilled then c'mon down to Birchwood Honda West. Many, many recalls on my 2020 Ridgeline. I totaled my car hitting a deer and was thrown into a market that I had no clue was so crazy. I needed to replace my car in a short period of time. I felt many dealers were adding to my stress by trying to get me to make decisions before I was ready. I then got an email from Mike at the GM Birchwood who found me some options that met my needs. He let me go at my own speed and with Zac from the Honda location they got me back on the road. While I didn't get back into a hybrid I am super happy with my new car. The Birchwood crew did a fantastic job. I was really impressed and thankful I for Mike and Zac. More
