Crooks I purchased a used 2007 Malibu with around 30,000 KM and everything was okay for a few months...Everything was fine until I noticed a thin layer (let' I purchased a used 2007 Malibu with around 30,000 KM and everything was okay for a few months...Everything was fine until I noticed a thin layer (let's call it clear coat) pealing off the rear bumper....Not paint but just a thin film...This would not happen if it were the original factory paint....Strange that a car fax when I purchased the car told me nothing about and any previous accidents or body work....I knew now the car had been in an accident and was never told....The story gets better...I never said or did anything but thought I better get rid of this "klunker" before my warranty ran out as as who knows what else is wrong with the vehicle...I put it on the market and one day I got a call from this hot shot kid from Birchwood GM (Shimon Segal...stay away from this clown) interested in buying my car....He tells me they're "hungry" for used inventory, saw my car for sale in the paper, and would like to take a look at my Malibu....We set up an appointment for a viewing and let's keep in mind he doesn't know I bought the vehicle from Birchwood GM originally...The next day they have a look and test drive my vehicle (which is in mint shape) and Segal tells me he'll call me back the next morning with an offer....The next morning he leaves me a voice mail message telling me that they now have no interest in my vehicle that they have enough used inventory...xxxxxxxx !!...Once Segal and Birchwood figured out the history of the car and realized they sold me damaged goods originally they wanted no part of this "hot potato"....I now had the proof that shady Stevie Chipman and his boys had screwed me on the Malibu....I'm guessing they fixed up and repainted my car internally and avoided anything showing up on and the car fax about any accidents.....STAY AWAY FROM THESE SHADY CROOKS !!!....STEVIE CHIPMAN, SEGAL, and the rest of his flunkees !! I've purchased two vehicles from this dealer.. The first was a used Pontiac Sunfire, and the second was a new Pontiac G3 Wave (2009).. Keep in mind they used to sell Pontiacs when they were available. The was a used Pontiac Sunfire, and the second was a new Pontiac G3 Wave (2009).. Keep in mind they used to sell Pontiacs when they were available. The service was alright, I can't complain. I knew what I wanted, and I didn't care for being pushed into anything I didn't want, but you get that anywhere for the most part. When I went to sign the papers (and I admit, shame on me for not reading fully) they added extended warranty coverage to what I wanted - I had originally said I didn't want it. I admit, my fault for not reading. But why add it when I told them - twice - I don't want it. I also got the Accident/Injury Insurance for it (for almost 3000$ extra - I find out now that I paid almost twice what it is worth). The car ran fine, and the service staff is amazing. Not a fan of the sales staff. I did have one issue with service - I had just hit 60,000 km and I was having issues and wanted to take it in. I had the extended warranty to 100,000 / 5 years bumper to bumper.. I was told that it's not bumper to bumper but a 'comprehensive' warranty that only covers some things. I purchased extended warranty and they weren't prepared to honor it. I have since upgraded to a new car and bought it elsewhere. I no longer recommend this dealer to any of my friends or family. More
