Had my vehicle in today for an oil change and detail. Service was tremendous from everyone as usual, and the detail job I had was great. I've purchased a few vehicles here as well and their Sales staff/f Service was tremendous from everyone as usual, and the detail job I had was great. Disgusting discrimination. ofcage, gender and attire. Wouldn't let me even sit in the SUV I was interested in buying. Definitely no test drive. TL:DR version: - My experience at Bennett has been the worst experience I've had at any dealership over 15 years and 8 vehicles. It's not just a single employee that maybe misrepresents the business' core worst experience I've had at any dealership over 15 years and 8 vehicles. It's not just a single employee that maybe misrepresents the business' core values, it's apparent that this poor behaviour is consistent across multiple employees and multiple departments. - Have no clue what they're selling or servicing (and they are apparently Cadillac certified) - Talk xxxx about their customer's behind their back (on dashcam) - Engage in shady business practices by trying to deny warranty claims to make more money - Engage in unethical practices by skipping the diagnostics and advising that parts need replaced especially when they are expecting the customer to pay out of pocket - I tried to work with the dealership directly but after they admitted to not performing proper diagnostics, they stopped returning my emails - My part was eventually swapped without issue and was covered under warranty (after escalating to GM Canada) - Dealerships typically get paid 1.5-2x more money if the customer pays out of pocket as warranty work is invoiced at a reduced wholesale rate. It seems this dealership tries to prioritize making the customer pay out of pocket along with skipping proper diagnostics. They seem to prefer troubleshooting by swapping parts at the customer expense - I truly feel bad for people with lack of experience to question the dealerships work. Most people trust that the dealership performs ethical work and will have your best interests in mind, which is not the case from my experience More
I recently picked up my brand new 2024 Envista Avenir. There might as well have been a red carpet for me because everything was spectacular as soon as I walked through their door. Her knowledge of the cars as well as her professionalism and friendliness, helped me navigate the car buying process. I don’t think I have been treated even close to as well as I was today with any other purchase in my lifetime - and that includes house and condo purchases where I’m spending a lot more money. I highly recommend Bennett Chevrolet Buick GMC in Waterloo Region. I live in Waterloo and the short drive to visit Megan and see their inventory in Cambridge was well worth it. I wish I could add the picture here of my 2020 XT five the Lugnuts are all rusted on what is supposed to be a quality car and the answer I received today was no they’re not under warranty. I’ve had other vehicles from Ford over 10 years and the Lugnuts never rusted, they asked me if I wanted to be put through to the parts department well no thank you I would like to go and buy them somewhere where they won’t rust in a couple of years. The people I’ve dealt with in general there over the past three years for the most part been good it’s just very disappointing that you buy a quality car And these parts are so cheaply made More

I've dealt with this dealership a few times now. Every time I have I've had a great experience. I find them honest with me. I find them convenient as they are just a hop skip and a jump away. Service is crap. Took my vehicle in at 10:30 am and was told that the people who sit there an hour and a half waiting would get priority service. xxx?? I had a courtesy ride home and I’m still waiting and told that the people who sit there an hour and a half waiting would get priority service. xxx?? I recently called to make my service appointment for my vehicle's oil change and was completely dissatisfied. In 2018 I purchased my truck at the GM dealer in Exeter ON and since then I have always had my vehicle's oil change and was completely dissatisfied. In 2018 I purchased my truck at the GM dealer in Exeter ON and since then I have always had my vehicle serviced and repaired at GM dealerships. However, today I went to make my appointment for my vehicle's oil change and was told they cannot shuttle me home due to the shuttle being extremely busy and cannot shuttle customers only getting an oil change. Oil changes are not free services as well you can see in my service log, I have completed many services and repairs at the dealership which I have received the shuttle service; I was to the understanding that was an enjoyed benefit of someone who purchased a GM vehicle and decided to continue service after the purchase with the GM dealership, GM obviously does not need to keep repeat customers. More
