Spencer was the salesperson who approached me. He was easy going, friendly, and more than willing to spend the time needed to go through the different packages and features, along with going with me to explain things as I took the KONA for a test drive. He then gave me options with financing for 2018 and 2019 models, and was very honest about what the differences cost wise would be. If you’re someone who doesn’t like pushy sales people, Spencer is the guy to see. So helpful and he let me make decisions I wanted to make based on the things I stated were important to me in a car. Today I went to pick up my new KONA and Spencer took the time again to sit in the car with me and go through all of the features and how to use them. I love my new car, so thank you for your help Spencer and team! More

Was pleased to cancel my financing with them and switch to Barrie Hyundai for a better purchase and better over all experience. Once you sign those papers and drive away in a brand new $40000 vehicle, you're just another person to them. I had warranty issues since before I left the lot (scratch in dash) first service I complained of bad shifting and my USB port won't work. Ashleigh told me that I am using the wrong cord and it's my fault. (Let's add how rude of a human she is) Problem not resolved till 32 000kms, when they replaced it due to a faulty connection inside the port. Second service I complained I still had bad shifting and now a vibration throughout entire vehicle. At 30 000KM on my 2018 Santa Fe Sport I noticed my passenger window was scratched in multiple places from a faulty seal. I had to fight to get the window replaced, I had to fight to have the shifting assessed, turns out it had a FAULTY TRANSMISSION since NEW. My dash was still not repaired. Baytowne did nothing to help me out with this situation. I had to fight and fight to get a rental car paid - they had no plan of ever offering help. Dave the service manager told me it would be "fun" to have 2-4 days off work? (I live 2 hours away in a small town) You're kidding right. Also, due to this vibration my tires have uneven cupping. Well apparently cupping happens on all SUV's and it's also normal to burn through a set of tires I got January 18th-November 1st. He then proceeded to tell me that you don't buy an SUV for luxury and the vibration is due to my crappy suspension the vehicle comes with. I actually work at a dealership where I am the Warranty Administrator - I know how warranty works. But I guess being so young I am easy for them to take advantage of. I went in for a basic service with an appointment made way in advance, they didn't do my oil change till 2 hours after I dropped it off and my boyfriend asked why the car hadn't even moved. So please, if I can even help one person not have to go through the same nightmare with this greedy location/company I would be happy. More

I can say we went to many dealerships that day, but Hyundai (Richard) offered the best experience by far and the quality of the car (Hyundai Tuscon) is also appreciated. More
Desperate at closing time on a Friday! My key had been stuck in my ignition for almost 5hrs by the time I was able to get to the dealership. Which was also closing time on a Friday! I was so lucky that a couple of the service department guys hadn’t left yet. They, and Kayla from the service desk, stayed to help me out for about an hour! Thankfully they were able to get my key out and I was able to relax and enjoy my weekend. I was in such a panic when I got there. And couldn’t be more grateful they were willing to stay to help me(and didn’t make me feel guilty for it). Huge thanks to Kayla and the Wilson brothers!! Great job! Service Team Left a Screwdriver in Engine Bay I took my 2010 Hyundai Accent in for an oil change and brake repair in August 2017. (Up until then, I had only trusted Hyundai to work my vehicle.) I took my 2010 Hyundai Accent in for an oil change and brake repair in August 2017. (Up until then, I had only trusted Hyundai to work my vehicle.) A few days after the repair, I opened my hood to help a neighbour jump their car, to find a screwdriver wedged into my engine bay. I called the dealership immediately and did not receive a call back about my concern. When the dealership called asking for my business in Jan 2018, I asked if they had a response to my complaint from my last service appointment. They had no record. After my second direct ask, Dave Griffith, the Service Manager, replied to my concern. He told me he asked his technicians if the screwdriver belonged to them, to which they replied no. There was no apology, no concern for my safety, and no remorse for an issue that was clearly caused by his team - as no other has worked on my vehicle. Do not trust Dave Griffith, or Baytowne Hyundai, to do a complete or safe job on your vehicle. More
