I called Kia Barrie for a diagnostic and they gave me an appointment nearly three weeks out. After I left a review on Google, the manager called me asking me to take it down and said they’d scan the vehicle without an appointment. I brought it in, they scanned it, said they had the code, cleared the check engine light, and sent me home. Before my scheduled appointment, the light came back on. On the day of the appointment, the light was off again, and after keeping my car all day, they told me they didn’t do anything because there was no light on. Last week, the light came on again. I brought it back, they cleared it once more, and Greg said he would call me with an appointment—he never did. I called myself and was given a date for July 4. Today (Saturday), my car broke down on the exit off Highway 11 N in Orillia. I almost got into an accident because the car suddenly stopped and It wouldn’t move and several warning lights came on at the same time. I called Kia Roadside Assistance (I have the extended warranty), and the car was towed to Kia Orillia. Now I’m being told I might have to pay for the tow back to Barrie and that a rental might not be covered—even though the salesperson told me all of that was included when I bought the car. I really regret trading in my truck. The service at Kia Barrie has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend them based on my experience. More
Dom the con is the most perfect way to describe the finance manager. He rushes you through the application process and adds on warranties and anti theft charges without explaining them. Jesse just sits in the corner and doesn’t engage. I wish I could give the car back and never deal with them again. Even their own sales guy talks about how unorganized it is and talks about who’s getting fired. BRUTAL. Stay away!!!! More

The sales manager was also fantastic, taking the time to clearly explain all the details. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend visiting this dealership—not only for the great service, but also to explore this fabulous brand. You get so much value for the price with KIA. Definitely worth checking out! More
This dealership goes beyond underhanded. I did not buy a car here. Instead, I merely called about a car I spotted online. I was told the was just sold that morning. Surprise Surprise, that's when the sales pitch started... Come in & check out our selection.. Blahhh Blahhh. For the record, the ad is Still active. This is Nothing more than bait & switch tactics. Just look at all these negative reviews.. This place wreaks of dishonesty. Don't waste your time or your money. This place deserves Zero stars...AND should be investigated. More

After signing the initial bill of sale (the one before the pitch to upsell you), there were other things that needed to be decided/negotiated (low interest rate offers but only good with purchase of a $3k Vehicle Total Loss Program, warranty itself, etc.) and things went down hill from there. I kept their written rude comments, and they basically acted like they didn't want to sell me the car once they realized I was not buying any of their "extras". I was ignored for days after leaving messages, and the manager made a deal to deliver the car to me, but then the others would not uphold that agreement. Strange, I know-who is the boss I don't know. They also would not return my deposit after things started to get sour. It took about 3 weeks to finalize the deal. I even contacted their dealership parent 401group and they wouldn't speak to me. Ended up having to buy the car but the car was not my issue - it was the sales service group. Sorry, but this is honest. More
My experience with Barrie Kia was terrible. I was promised winter tires and rims with my purchase, but they lied, swapped the originals, and tried to pass off incompatible replacements. When I raised safety concerns, staff, especially Jesse, were dismissive and even laughed at me. Attempts to resolve the issue were ignored, and I was told to “outsource” my own tires. While Mike and Dom showed professionalism, the overall experience was filled with dishonesty and disrespect. Avoid Barrie Kia if you value your time and safety. More
On a new car purchase yesterday afternoon, I was mislead about several "options" and charged for extras amounting to almost $4,000. So poor customer service, communication about my progress on my car was poor.
