Above and beyond I just had my service completed at banister honda and they are excellent. The work is always great but this time it was complete with a wash, vacuum I just had my service completed at banister honda and they are excellent. Best dealership in Canada! I have been to a lot of dealerships, from the East to the West and Bannister is the best one! Logistical Nightmare Overcome! My fuel pump died just as the worst snowstorm in 80 years hit town. I made it home and kept in constant touch with Tammy, hoping for a new pump out of My fuel pump died just as the worst snowstorm in 80 years hit town. I made it home and kept in constant touch with Tammy, hoping for a new pump out of Calgary asap. But the highway kept getting closed down, I was stuck in my driveway with 2 feet of snow to clear, and the days ticked by. Finally, with Tammy coordinating my being able to get to town with a loaner car becoming available, and the great service crew at Bannister putting their heads together, my car got a new pump the next day! I've been with Bannister 14 years and have never had a problem. Thanks again! More

no warranty for wheels or tires Bought a brand new 2013 fit. Base wheels started to rust after 6 months.. Service told me they are junk and that I have to live with it.. Front tires Bought a brand new 2013 fit. Base wheels started to rust after 6 months.. Service told me they are junk and that I have to live with it.. Front tires completely worn out after 18000km. I was told I am rallying around corners and its my fault???? I'm 50... I don't rally for pete sakes.. So very unhappy with banister Honda. They make the sale and your on your own. Thanks for nothing banister. Additional details in response to Pat Loehndorfs' comments.: You state that you contacted Honda on my behalf. I made complaints to the service staff on two separate visits regarding the rusting wheels and was told that's the way they are and nothing would be done. It was only after I noticed the tire wear, when checking my pressures and went to the dealership a 3rd time and insisted with the backing of Gene Kushniruk, that pictures were taken. I was told again not to expect anything and also that the wheels are junk. I heard nothing for 3 weeks and finally called Honda corporate myself. I was told no warranty and that it was my fault. I was told I was rallying. I said I was not and was asked " if I asked a 100 people looking for warranty, how many would admit they were rallying? None!" So I was called a liar as well, with a question that has no answer. I was told rust on these wheels is not a manufacturers defect. It's normal and acceptable.?? Also in all my visits, I was never once given a "pre-inspection walk around or your next oil change is free" that is stated on a large sign at entrance to service. It was never recommended or suggested that my tires should be rotated or I would have done so. I was unaware that rotations would be needed at such low km. I rely on the professionals? to advise me of this, when I take my car in for service. I do believe that rotating would mean I would have 4 worn out tires instead of two completely worn out ones and two 3/4's worn out. I will never know though as Banister Honda let me down. In regards to the wheels. Had I been informed of there potential to rust after one winter season as Mr. Loehndorf stated. I may have not purchased the vehicle or I may have bought the next model up "sport" with the upgraded rims and tires. To offer me "at your cost" is no offer at all. It just means you are willing to not profit from my misfortune. It is a insult and shows no good will on your part. I firmly believe my wheels and tires should be replaced with the sport models at no cost to me whatsoever. I will add though, that all the staff at Banister Honda with the exception of Grant Kitzman, who did not introduce himself and scowled the entire time... have always been friendly and courteous. Gene Kushniruk is a great salesman and has gone out of his way.. within the limits placed upon him by Banister Honda.. to help me. I am completely unsatisfied and will ensure others become aware of these issues, so that they will be properly informed before buying a Honda or from Banister. Yours sincerely, Jeff G. More

Good Price for Extra Value Came back to Vernon for X'Mas and needed an oil change in my Jeep Commander. I was able to get an appointment with little notice. Met by very friendly Came back to Vernon for X'Mas and needed an oil change in my Jeep Commander. I was able to get an appointment with little notice. Met by very friendly staff who, even though I was just in for an oil change, agreed to have their technicians look at a couple other minor fixes that were bothering me. In the end, not only did I get my oil changed, but the other small problems were taken care of, AND my truck was washed and vacuumed. Incredible! Thank you! More
