It started with purchasing a 2024 vehicle that had no cruise control that was not pointed out at time of sale, after 3 different enquiries on getting it installed they just blew me off and said it could cruise control that was not pointed out at time of sale, after 3 different enquiries on getting it installed they just blew me off and said it could not be done and never gave me a price. Similtaneously, they sold me winter tires and when I went to pick them up they said the price had gone up, too bad. I squawked enough that they honored the price they originially gave me. Then I went in for an oil change at 1015 after waiting two weeks to get an appointment and at 4:00 they called me and said I would need to reschedule or leave my truck overnight, which I did but for cripes sake it was a scheduled oil change! Currently, one of my brand new tires has separated plies after only two months of use. Firstly, I had to call 3 times leaving messages and no response, 4th time, I get a girl who blows me off telling me that it is not their problem, I need to get hold of Michelin myself and we can not even look at it to confirm since we are booking two weeks out. What a shmozz, I am heading across the street to Kelowna Chev and get my work done there from now on. More
I had the worst experience with Bannister Kelowna. Dropped my 2023 Cadillac Escalade for the minor car seat problem. The issue has not been fixed, rather a new issue has been created during the repair. Dropped my 2023 Cadillac Escalade for the minor car seat problem. I had an engine light appear and was headed out on a long journey. I stopped in unannounced to find out what was wrong. The service manager completed a diagnosis and assured me it was a glow plug and not a l journey. I stopped in unannounced to find out what was wrong. The service manager completed a diagnosis and assured me it was a glow plug and not a large concern for that time of the year. On my subsequent visit to repair the issue a few weeks ago, Garret helped get my vehicle in, got me the loaner I needed and kept me up to date on the timelines for repairs. Hands down the best service at a "dealership" that I have had in 30+ years. Keep up the great work and don't let Garret leave. More

Our vehicle has been in service with you for the past 5 months. Originally, we were under the impression that we would be getting our vehicle repaired & returned to us within 2 weeks. Due to the pandemic, months. Originally, we were under the impression that we would be getting our vehicle repaired & returned to us within 2 weeks. Due to the pandemic, we have been patient with shipping delays. However, we were constantly being told that the engine for our vehicle would arrive within 2 weeks. we were never offered a loaner vehicle from your establishment. When we realized we wouldn't be getting the vehicle back in 2 weeks, we decided to order & purchase a new vehicle and eventually trade in the Escalade for that vehicle. We had a deal in place and , In order to maintain my OEM incentives on the new vehicle, we began the finance process on the new vehicle with the Escalade as the trade. Unfortunately, the Escalade was never ready. The new vehicle incentives were about to become null and void going into a new month, so we ended up having to trade in my Cadillac ATS instead. Four months later, we received a call that someone attempted to steal my catalytic converter, which would cost us $1,700.00 to repair. With our vehicle being in your care for that amount of time, I definitely disputed this, and thankfully the repair was completed which was a simple weld to our knowledge. We finally received a call that our Escalade was ready. Our bill was over $13,000. Let's consider that we have been paying vehicle payments & insurance on this vehicle that we haven't been able to drive for the past 4 months while being led on to believe it would only be a couple of weeks. When my husband came to pick up the Escalade, he drove for about 2 km and the engine light came on. We brought it back and was told there may have been a misfire, so we should drive it some more and the problem should clear up. We took this advice, drove it for a few km. The light did turn off and we proceeded to park the vehicle and go back to work. On our way home, the engine light came on, stayed on, and the engine stalled. Once we had the vehicle at home, we realized there was even more vandalism done to the vehicle while parked on your lot. Someone attempted to steal the rear emblem on the hatch, which damaged the emblem and the paint. My brought this up with the Service advisor and it was merely shrugged off. He was told by parts that he could order a new one for $107.00. We were advised by your service department to drop the vehicle off on Monday for another diagnostic. He received a call that two of the injectors were defective. We have never had injector issues with this vehicle. We have been advised by a certified mechanic that the injectors are failing due to poor storage. They apparently should be stored in oil if detached from the engine. Our engine parts were stored in the back of my vehicle for four months. Not a pleasant smell, no matter how much the vehicle has been detailed. My husband had to drive the vehicle home with the windows down. Our quote from Jim was $1,132.00 for the new injectors. We are being charged $270.00 for another diagnostic. Seriously? We have literally had the vehicle home for 48 hrs and didn't drive it anywhere but to work from your dealership, home, and back to your dealership. So 5 months later, the vehicle is still in your care (completed now) but I still had to fork out $1,100. We had a buyer lined up to purchase this vehicle the weekend that we brought it home. However, we have lost that purchaser due to it requiring more maintenance. We have lost trade value to purchase my new vehicle, no loaner offered, suffered vandalism, down to one car for 5 months, making car & insurance payments for a vehicle we haven't been driving, the vehicle wasn't exactly ready when promised or otherwise, and the vehicle had to go into the shop with another bill, nothing is being done about the repair to the hatch and I'm being charged another diagnostic. So let's even this entire experience to $14K. I will NEVER buy a vehicle from you nor ever get any service done from your dealership or any of this groups dealerships ever again. More
The customer service was handled very poorly regarding their shuttle service as well as customer communication prior to servicing my vehicle. Nothing was rectified despite the service manager acknowledgin their shuttle service as well as customer communication prior to servicing my vehicle. Nothing was rectified despite the service manager acknowledging the dealership was wrong in how they handled our appointment. We will not be returning for any sort of maintenance as we don’t feel they have their customer’s best interest at heart. Why is it so hard to be decent, honest, and kind? More
This place is the worst service I have ever seen . I went in with 2 codes to read and was quoted an hour ..so $150 . I get the minimum charge thing and although I felt that was too much time charge for readi in with 2 codes to read and was quoted an hour ..so $150 . I get the minimum charge thing and although I felt that was too much time charge for reading 2 codes I agreed as one was for the airbags. Imagine my surprise when i was handed a $285.00 bill!!! That was just to tell me what was wrong. Not fix it. The tech outright lied to me about the time consumption of this job why it now cost so much more. Then he charged me $31.50 as a shop charge for the repair order. What does that even mean ? I bought this truck new from Bannister in 2008. They will never - ever see me again. Lifetime resident of Kelowna . For the rest of my life I will be sure to tell all my family and friends what a class act this dealership is. Do not go . See a regular mechanic. They will fleece you and lie to your face. More

After a discussion with the sales team, the problem was taken care of free of charge. I am extremely happy with this result as a lesser dealership would have tried to avoid taking ownership of the problem.
