Sam was a great salesman to deal with. He was very knowledgable about the safety features about the car, which he focused on in the test drive, rather than the cosmetic features which other dealership knowledgable about the safety features about the car, which he focused on in the test drive, rather than the cosmetic features which other dealerships (Mazda, Honda) primarily focused on. The details he included on his test drive really made us confident in choosing Mitsubishi, like the brake system, the all wheel drive, the turning capabilities and the structure of the engine, describing how the car is designed to protect the passengers in case of an accident. This was extremely important to us, and really stood out to us as we were shopping around various dealerships. He was very friendly and explained all elements of the warranty thoroughly and answered all of our questions. If this is an indication of the quality of service in Mitsubishi, then we will definitely be repeat customers. More

I first need to say that Jay (our salesman) is exempt from this review. He was fantastic, it was everything after that soured my experience. After test driving several vehicles I had narrowed my decisi from this review. He was fantastic, it was everything after that soured my experience. After test driving several vehicles I had narrowed my decision to either a Kia Sorrento or the Mitsubishi Outlander. Both worked out to about the same cost but the Outland did not come with a back up camera unless we paid for the full Nav system while the Kia had the camera standard in the model I was looking at. The sales manager agreed to include the navigation system at no extra cost to compete with the Kia. We decided to go ahead with the Mitsubishi purchase. In the meeting with the sales manager I specifically asked him if I was buying the vehicle I test drove and he said yes. A couple of days later my fiance received a call that they had sold the vehicle on the lot and would be installing an after market navigation system which was an upgrade from the factory one we were expecting. After being assured that the after market system would have the same warrenty and service as the factory system we agreed to move forward. The day we picked up our vehicle I was immediately dissapointed with the the system that had been installed. It was nothing at all like I was expecting, not very responsive, the back up camera took a good minute and a half to boot up after the vehicle was turned on (doesnt seem like a lot but most people take off a few seconds after starting the car) which essentially made it useless. I was also told that the system had been installed incorrectly and the buttons on the steering wheel to control the bluetooth (answer a call/hang up a call) were not connected. I was told to call back and make an appointment and they would correct it. A few days after I picked up the car, the nav system began malfunctioning. If a call came in through the bluetooth the radio would be at full blast when i hung up and the volume controls wouldnt work. Occassionally while in the middle of a call the system would freeze and although my call was still connected I wouldn't be able to hear the caller and they couldnt hear me, etc. I called Bank Street Mitsubishi to schedule an appointment to have the bluetooth connected properly and also to have the system looked at for the issues. I was told I needed to call the business that actually installed the system (the had sub contracted it without my knowledge). After trying to reach the contact Mitsubishi provided me for over a week I gave up and called them back. At this point I was fed up and wanted the after market system removed and the factory nav system installed. I was told that they would need to speak to the General Manager and would get back to me. After hearing nothing for several days I called back and was told that the factory system was too expensive and they had lost money selling me the vehicle in the first place so they would not be able to do anything for me. I went in and spoke with Jay (sales manager not the sales guy) and asked them to at least put the factory stereo back in (I was willing to give up the nav and back up camera to just have a functioning system). Jay called the service area to get a price (they had taken the factory system out but not given it to me) and find out the availability. He told me they had another vehicle on the lot with the Nav system and were going to swap the system i had for the factory one but that he just needed to confirm the size was the same. Once again I never heard back so again I stopped in to see what could be done. I was told that Jay had moved over to Mazda and Mo had taken his place. Mo looked at my file and again told me that they had lost money on selling me the vehicle and would do nothing to rectify the situation but told me to call the place that had installed it. Once again I was unable to reach the contact and am now stuck with a partially functioning unit and a terrible experience. At the time of purchase, we pre paid for several oil changes thinking it would be convenient and slightly discounted. The following year we moved to Montreal for my fiance's work. We were looking at putting a hitch on the mitsubishi and called Bank Street hoping to give them one last chance to improve our opinion of them. We asked if in lieu of the oil changes they would install a hitch and discount it by the cost of the remaining oil changes. Keep in mind we were not asking for any extra discount we just wanted to trade in the value of the oil changes towards the value of the hitch, We were prepared to pay the balance. Mo told us that he would look into the different costs and call us back. A week later we still had not received a call so my fiance called back. Mo had no idea who he was and was clearly not planning to look into our request or call us back. He offered us an after market hitch (see above for how enthused we were about after market anything) at an inflated price plus full labour cost. This was after he tried to quote us $300 more than his own parts department had quoted for a factory hitch. I guess lesson learned, don't pre pay for oil changes becaus eyou never know when an unexpected move will come up. I wrote this in detail because while I see that most people wrote glowing reviews (one of the reasons we went to Bank Street in the first place) I noticed that most of them never had to deal with an issue with their purchase. Had my Nav system been installed correctly with a quality product that worked I would have left and given them a great review too. Unfortunatley, this dealership is well aware that once you have given them their money you have no recourse. They did not honour the warrenty for the Nav system, did not help me to get it fixed, made no concessions at all with the pre paid oil changes and overall gave us a horrible experience. More

I walked into the dealership and immediately connected with Sam. I had been shopping around for a new 4x4 and wasn't yet decided on which vehicle to purchase. I had tested Ford, GM, Nissan and was now goi with Sam. I had been shopping around for a new 4x4 and wasn't yet decided on which vehicle to purchase. I had tested Ford, GM, Nissan and was now going to try the Outlander. What a pleasant surprise! Sam gave me ALL the information about what this vehicle was capable of as well as an informative test drive. It was truly an educational session. I was convinced this vehicle was for me as it had all the features that I needed as well as wanted. The warranty is what made the deal. The financing was a nice perk and the price was reasonable, so after my third visit, I became a proud owner thanks to Sam. His professionalism and product knowledge is second to none. I can understand why he's achieved Gold Standard, he's the best. I appreciated his courtesy and patience throughout my decision making process and will highly recommend him to family and friends. It's very rare to meet a true CONSULTANT rather than the typical salesman. Thanks again Sam! Carol Pereira More
This is the second Mitsubishi that I have purchased from this dealer and this particular sales person (Sam Amouna). As was the second for my first purchase, Sam walked me through all the options from both t this dealer and this particular sales person (Sam Amouna). As was the second for my first purchase, Sam walked me through all the options from both the actual car perspective and the financial perspective. He answered all my questions in a courteous and friendly manner. However if that was his only trait then he would have been the same as any other salesman. However it was the extra effort he made subsequent to all my requests. After signing the original purchase agreement, I went back and asked for an additional feature. He made the effort to fullfill my reuest at no additional cost. He would have been justified to say no however my satisfaction was important to him. I cannot say enough about what he did and what the dealership has done to assure my satisfaction both from a quality and price perspective. The cars are well built but it was the quality of the relationship with Sam and the other personnel that brought me back a second time. I know that when I am looking for my next car, my first and only stop will be at Bank Street Mitsubishi and if I am lucky enough Sam will still be there. More
The service department is amazing at Bank Street. Dave Scharf is always prompt in serving me. My vehicle is done quickly and properly all the time. Based on this it made sense for us to go back to Bank S Scharf is always prompt in serving me. My vehicle is done quickly and properly all the time. Based on this it made sense for us to go back to Bank Street for our third Mitsubishi. Sam has always been concerned about the level of service I am getting. He is always pleasant and friendly. As a sales person, we found him to be knowledgeable of the vehicle and very accomodating. He worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. No pressure, very patient and friendly through the whole deal. I even got fresh flowers in my new car when we picked it up. More
Nothing but good things to say about Georges and everyone else we dealt with at Bank Street Mitsubishi in our recent car purchase. No pressure environment, took the time to answer all our questions and were else we dealt with at Bank Street Mitsubishi in our recent car purchase. I was looking for a "cross-over" SUV, to replace my 2001 Subaru Outback ~ it really was time to change up! Anyway, we didn't want to be cash-poor for a new vehicle, so our criterion were (1) replace my 2001 Subaru Outback ~ it really was time to change up! Anyway, we didn't want to be cash-poor for a new vehicle, so our criterion were (1) < $40K [on the road], (2) excellent safety record, (3) excellent warranty, (4) uses only Regular gasoline, (5) high gas mileage, (6) higher off the ground than our Outback [we're tired of hauling ourselves up out of a car], (7) good trade-in value, (8) 0% financing, (9) affordable payments, and (10) great "standard" package. We were planning on starting at a Kia dealership, just because we've seen so many of them on the road; but we parked at an adjacent Mitsubishi dealership instead; and we were also planning on checking Mitsubishi out, too because of the best warranty available ~ hey, if they are willing to offer 10 years/200K km; then they have a quality product that they believe in. So, we ended up in the Mitsubishi dealership on Bank Street, first and never left to look further. We were pretty stringent about our 10 criteria; and unbelieveably, the sales staff (Sam) was extraordinary. Sam was very knowledgeable on the Mitsubishi vehicles, and also knew many of the competitive products available to us, too. He respected our wishes for what we were looking for in a vehicle, and showed us a very affordable way to get us into a vehicle that is perfect for us. He was not "pushy", as many car salespersons are reputed to be; he just treated us fairly, with the utmost of respect, and [really] listened to us. I like to think that we not only found a terrific salesperson, but also met a new friend that day. This was just on the day that we decided to buy a 2013 RVR. On the day that we picked up our new RVR, Sam showed us expertly around the vehicle that he had gotten prepared for us (a couple of options to be added, as well as the usual inspection); of which the wait was only a few days. Additionally, he took us around the dealership to introduce us to PJ in Service, who already had us scheduled in for our first oil change/inspection for 8K kms later; and explained our maintenance plan to us, as well as the free shuttle service to/from work when I have service calls. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. On our first weekend of ownership, we drove to Toronto, then on to London and returned to Ottawa; putting approximately 1500 kms on the odometer. The RVR-GT is very comfortable to drive, it comes with a lot of cool bluetooth options ~ thankfully, Sam went through all of these with me so I didn't have to read the Owners Manual to become proficient with them. You don't need a key anywhere, except in your pocket; the radio [including 6 mths free satalite], CD [6 stacker], and hands-free for use with my iPhone all work flawlessly. I've never been so integrated, or n'sync with my vehicle before; so all this "standard" equipment is very cool. Anyway, Sam and the dealership met all ten of our criterion, were super professional and friendly (not to mention respectful, and non-pushy ~ I mean it! ~ I guess you don't have to be pushy when you have a product that sells itself, and back it with a 10-year warranty). Oh, did I mention that they also gave me a $500 gas card? Sweet! I highly recommend the vehicle (RVR), the dealership (Bank Street Mitsubishi), and especially the salesperson (Sam). More
