Extra pleased I came to look at a Kia Soul I'd been considering which turned out to have been recently sold and took another one for a test drive. It turned out not to be what I needed and Kristof found a used Rondo in their inventory which suited my needs better, with brand new snow tires. We negotiated a reasonable price and made arrangements to pick it up when prepped. When I arrived, I was pleased to find that they had located the original All Season tires on rims which the previous owner had in storage and they were in the trunk. This was a bonus which will save me from having to buy 4 new tires in the spring and paying about $140 per year in tire installations and balancing. More

False Promises!!!! We bought a brand new KIA Rio because we were having such horrible experiences with the not even 1 yr old Ford Fiesta we had just recently bought. Aft We bought a brand new KIA Rio because we were having such horrible experiences with the not even 1 yr old Ford Fiesta we had just recently bought. After being convinced by one of the Sales Reps at KIA to buy the Rio we were to speak to the Finance person.... Isko Safic. Well Isko was very friendly and very convincing when it came to buying all these warranties expressing that these were very much needed things and that our vehicle would benefit greatly by doing this in the long run. Well, we pretty much bought the whole warranty package. We told Isko that we would be moving to Calgary Alberta soon and that we wanted to be guaranteed that all these warranties would be covered over there as well. WE WERE "ASSURED" that everything would be covered. A part of this warranty package we paid for was a rust proof with an added 25 free oil changes (the oil changes being added was the only reason why we bought that part of the warranty). When we went in to do our "covered" oil change we found out that we were not covered because we did not buy the vehicle here in Calgary. I called Isko and told him about this and he said let me see what i can do about it, I will call you back on Monday. Well that was over 3 months ago (I am still waiting for his phone call) and in the midterm we have been paying for our oil changes which are just over $50 a pop. And under this whole warranty package the agreement is that you have to do all of these things at "KIA", so we can't even take our car anywhere else to try and get cheaper oil changes. After all of our experiences in buying cars we have come to the conclusion that everyone that works in a dealership will tell you everything you want to hear and then tell you that you are pretty much just chit out of luck once you sign those papers. We also received barely anything for the ford fiesta that we traded in and are pretty making payments for 2 vehicles....for 6 years!! More
