Our Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. Bank Street Hyundai is committed in treating all customers with respect, and providing equal service regardless of language spoken, and preferential treatment is not given to any language. Although we have several languages spoken at our store, Bank Street Hyundai does not, nor has advertised any specific languages spoken at the store. Furthermore, our General Manger does not habitually greet clients of the store, this is a duty of the sales staff and sales managers. The expectation to be greeted by the Stores General Manager upon visiting the store is unrealistic, and in no manner is influenced by the clients background or language. Finally, regarding waiting times and commission. When our sales staff are engaged with a client, we do not interrupt this interaction. If a client wishes to wait for a specific sales person, for any reason, that sales person must finish any ongoing business at hand. If client books a specific time with a sales person or manager then a reasonable expectation for the time allotted is expected. The sales staff is paid on a flat commission. What this means is they do not profit, any more or any less from the price paid on the vehicle or the vehicle model. The commission is equal regardless if the vehicle purchased. I lament your experience at our store, and am hopeful that all future client experiences will exceed your experience. We commit to providing all clients with an equal opportunity to purchase a vehicle, and set the standard for professionalism in the business, and setting the client expectations as to the service they can expect to receive.
