Wonderful car purchase experience!!! Shopping for a new vehicle is always a little daunting, but the wonderful folks at Bank Street Hyundai made it great from the get-go. I went in with my husband to "window-shop" and we were greeted by Juan, who gave us breathing room to look around and kept his eye on us for when we were ready for an information session. The information (promos + car info),which I had been provided with, was enough for me to go back and test drive. This would be my second vehicle from this dealership. Greeted by Mark immediately and assigned to Shahir for test drive, etc...Shahir demonstrated great patience and knowledge throughout the entire process. The entire experience proved to be wonderful. All were most helpful, courteous and we even had a little fun at the "purchasing" stage. Fair Representation I must admit prior to visiting Bank St Hyundai, I did my research. Type of vehicle (Make,Model,class), reliability, dependability, options, vehicle r I must admit prior to visiting Bank St Hyundai, I did my research. Type of vehicle (Make,Model,class), reliability, dependability, options, vehicle reviews, value, resale value, insurance rating, cost. I also took time to read all the reviews on DealerRater.ca for this dealership. So entering the dealership, my main concern was to get a straight forward salesperson. Someone who didn't try to sell me something else (different model, more features) or someone to overstate the vehicle. I am very pleased to say Rabieh was successful. At no time he tried to discourage me into a different model nor additional features. He appreciated the work I had done in advance and never questioned my motives nor decisions. He explained and demonstrated the features on the model I was interested in to the point. At this point I was convinced I was working with the right sales person, and was also at the right dealership. Although Rabieh was interested in continuing, I informed him, my wife will drop by with me next time to continue our shopping/negotiations. When I arrived back the next weekend with my wife, Rabieh, had a similar vehicle waiting for us to test drive, and explained additional features/options of the vehicle during the test drive. It wasn't till our third visit that we finally put pen to paper to ink the deal. Pros : Over the 3 weeks it required to close the deal, at no time were my wife nor I ever pressured to close the deal. We were not strong armed into any additional features we did not require. Rabieh always looked out for us to ensure we were ready to move forward. Unfortunately Joe (Finance guy) had a tough job. I/We were familiar with the warranties/options speech, and even though he made it sound interesting, we were not interested in either option. Poor guy didn't stand a chance But again not strong arm sales pressure. Excellent Once the vehicle arrived on site, a mutually agreed date and time was set up to pick up the vehicle. Rabieh spent 90 minutes going over all features and options of our new vehicle, including the service department. In total, purchasing our new vehicle was a great experience from Bank St Hyundai. Even though I had all the information I needed to proceed, what I was looking for was a trustworthy dealership (sales and service) and Bank St Hyundai did not disappoint us. Best of the best So, this was the 4th Elantra (3rd new vehicle) we purchased at Bank St Hyundai, and as per the usual, nothing but top quality service. Robbie was amazing, very detailed and explained everything we needed to know. He took the time to fit u into something that was perfect. He provided options for us to consider to ensure we bought the perfect vehicle at the price point that met our family budget. I only have positive things to say. Not surprising, as we keep going back to Bank St Hyundai. When we need a car for my wife in a couple years we will most certainly go back an I hope to be able to deal with Robbie again. Amazing service and amazing car! I have to say that I was very hesitant to trade my 2011 Accent 3DR, I was very attached to it for 5 years, but as soon as I start speaking with the sa I have to say that I was very hesitant to trade my 2011 Accent 3DR, I was very attached to it for 5 years, but as soon as I start speaking with the sales department, I found out that was about time for an upgrade. My team of 3 excellent guys made me to change my mind and I went for a 2017 Elantra GT, with about all the important thing that I was looking for and I needed. Kudos to Mark, Naser and Joe Younes!!!! Revision to a previous review I thought that Hussein had given us an excellent deal in the purchase of our car, and the personal attention was outstanding. I would still recommend this dealership for purchase of a new vehicle. But beware. We asked for a remote starter for the 2016 Elantra we were about to purchase. The price of this item in the invoice was seven hundred dollars. Bank Street Hyundai Service and Parts department quoted the original Hyundai starter in $550 plus taxes. Thus, the charge seems to be correct. Note that this dealership sells only original Hyundai parts. They don't deal with any other brands, Well, it turned out that the remote starter installed in our car is a generic gizmo for all brands. It is cheaper, of course, than the original part for which we paid full price. The gizmo, been inadequate for our car make and brand, lasted for two months and then it broke down. When dealing with a reputable company, customers deposit on their front-line employees a certain amount of trust. For that reason, I did not expect that we would have to be watching over our shoulder, that we would have to verify every detail. We'll sort this out with the dealership. After all, charging for one item and delivering a cheaper one fully qualifies as fraud. Thus, I don't expect to have too much trouble in either getting my money back (best option) or having the original Hyundai part replaced. It is in their best interest to correct this mishap. This serves me as a lesson. While the prices for new cars are good at Bank Street Hyundai, it is better to purchase the add-on's in another dealership. More
