Bank Street Hyundai

So far, I'm regretting purchasing from this dealer. I purchased a 2010 Elantra Touring Sport new in , it has 48K on the ODO Here are a few examples of my displeasure: -Shift lever vibrates noisily at 30 purchased a 2010 Elantra Touring Sport new in , it has 48K on the ODO Here are a few examples of my displeasure: -Shift lever vibrates noisily at 3000 RPM in every gear, service department says they can't fix it, ok. -Cabin filter was never changed, let alone inspected, even after it being listed as having been checked on the 24,000 km service. Makes you wonder what else they AREN'T DOING that you've paid them to do. -When dealing with the shifter issue they reinstalled the knob incorrectly and the centre cap popped off. They ordered a new one saying the old one wasn't good any more because they couldn't fix the cap. I fixed the cap myself with a Phillips screwdriver (screw inside was loose), guess they don't have this technology at their disposal -Car has various scuffs and scratches that were there when we bought it. Too bad I only noticed them after driving away, including a strange dent/dip in the middle of the hood. Good thing we picked it up at night.... -Driver side front tire is completely bald on the inside 1/3, other tires are fine, but still need replacing. Car has only been summer driven 48K on the ODO. Have they ACTUALLY been rotating the tires? I dunno. - Key Fob is intermittent when opening the rear hatch, problem took "too long" to deal with so they didn't fix it. Given their lack of honesty when it comes to the servicing of my vehicle at their centre, I'm hesitant to take to car to them for any sort of issue, fearing they will just say "we can't fix that" or it would take too much time to deal with. Certainly will be thinking twice before visiting another "Dilawri Group" dealer to purchase again. Once my oil changes are used up at the dealer I won't be back again, and I certainly won't be spending any more money at their service department. I'll take Mr.Lube over them any day, at least Mr.Lube shows you the old stuff they took out proving the service was completed Incessant calling from Bank Street Hyundai as well, for offers of service, deals, buy-backs, ect. Wish they would forget my phone #. (slight bit of irony, Bank Street Hyundai called me to offer attending a trade up event in September just as I was writing this) More

Hi, I’m from Gatineau, after going to 2 Hyundai’s in my region I decide to go to Hyundai Dilawri. Dilawri had a deal that other dealers just couldn’t match! You know their commercial song is true and staye region I decide to go to Hyundai Dilawri. Dilawri had a deal that other dealers just couldn’t match! You know their commercial song is true and stayed in my head for a while! I even saw another happy customer coming out of the dealership singing ‘’Nobody deals…like Dilawri’’! They worked hard to give me the best price for the Santa Fe. Toufic Habib was our sale person, very patient, especially when you have a 2 years old son that doesn’t stay still lol. Patrick Kiwan was the sale Manager, I changed my mind on the colour and decided to upgrade the SUV, even after the papers were signed, Patrick took the time to cancel all of the arrangements, & make new ones & never said anything, no attitude & he still had a smile, I can’t imagine all the extra works that he made for us. Joe Younes at finance, wow, when we said no for one type package he didn’t try to pressure us. What is funny is at the end we decide to take it. At another Hyundai the finance person laughed at me saying nobody makes such a big purchase without taking insurance on their loan. He tried to make me believe that even with 2 government salaries that I would be in trouble if I did not buy his insurances. That’s a shame that he made me feel so low and I was ready to sign right there and then. But all ends well because the Dilawri people made me feel like a person and did not try to make me feel stupid and taken advantage of because I’m a woman. I really enjoyed the whole experience with them. They were friendly, polite, patient and didn’t mind repeating the information when we weren’t sure about something and all that made me feel confident that I had made the right purchase for the best price. I recommend that you take your best offer, then go to Dilawri, you will receive a better price & a better service than any Hyundai dealer.
