He came across as a real honest guy, and someone who truly shared th When purchasing my first BMW, I'm happy that I was dealing with Alessio Del Papa. He came across as a real honest guy, and someone who truly shared the passion for cars. Throughout my recent car purchasing experience, I visited several dealerships, including those from competing makes, such as Audi and VW. More often then not, the salespeople were more interested in selling their "product" and were therefore less passionate or knowledgeable about cars in general. I'm a car guy, and I want the salesperson to be one as well. I want them to know about their car as well as its competition, and be able to have a frank discussion about their strengths and weaknesses. And of all the salespeople, Alessio was definitely a car guy. Not only did he share his experiences as an owner of different BMW models, he did not shy away from discussing the merits of competing models, whenever I brought up the topic. That showed me that he was honest, knowledgeable, and passionate. My interactions with him felt more like a "car-talk" with a buddy, than a sales pitch. There was a feeling of mutual respect and understanding between us, one car guy to a another. Exactly what I would expect from a BMW dealer. The after sales experience with Alessio was also very good. Though there were some hiccups on delivery, and some of my requests were not fulfilled, at first, by the delivery team, Alessio made sure to follow up with them so that I would be satisfied at the end. He seemed eager to make sure that my total purchase experience was a success. I appreciated that he was available and willing to help, and did not simply disappear after the ink was dry. If I may be honest, when I was shopping for a new car last year, the BMW was not on the top of my list. But I'm convinced that my experience with Alessio made me change my mind. I guess if it wasn't for him, I would be driving an Audi right now. Just remember, a salesperson can sell a refrigerator, but only a car guy Should sell a car! More
