7 YEAR SPELL BROKEN! I definitely wanted to write a review of our experience at Budget Car Sales as it is quite unique. To put it briefly, let's just say that it took SEVEN YEARS for my husband to finally agree to going through with a car transaction. 7 years ago, I was pregnant with our third child and living with in-laws, we knew we needed a 7-seater. My husband, being the self-appointed world champion in 'car research' set off to find the best deal. Yes, I will agree he is a great researcher and found some amazing cars online, but coupled with this talent, was a black cloud of suspicion that followed him everywhere. Car salesmen are not on his list of the top most trust worthy folk in his books. So every time we saw a car we liked it was either 'unusually' too expensive (so in his mind the car dealer was pulling a fast one for a quick buck) or if 'unusually' too INexpensive (the car was an 'obvious' scam!!!) Can you imagine my frustration??!!! It was a lose-lose situation! Anyway, fast forward SEVEN YEARS... our baby girl is six now!!!!. Still no car. Last month, Budget Car Sales was the car dealership that actually broke the spell! We dealt with five representatives that each brought their own unique type of customer service to the table. Ken was great at giving us an overview of the company's unique approach to car sales and came with me for the test drive. Greg was fantastic at meeting our needs and wants and making this a mutually acceptable deal. He was the one who actually broke the seven year spell...and it was over the phone! Pretty impressive for not even ever have seen or spoken to my husband before! (My husband was at work when I went to check out the car and go for the test drive). Dave was very informative with the finance part of the deal and we appreciated his up front no-nonsense approach to logical financing. Shawn blew us away when he asked us to wait when we were just about to drive off the lot with our new car and he took the time to personally link my husband's phone to the bluetooth system in the car and show us all the features. He definitely did not have to do that as the 'deal was done' and we were driving off. We liked that it was so convenient to buy insurance off Aaron right on the lot. On top of all of this, Budget has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee--a person can return the car if s/he is not happy with it for whatever reason. As well...yes there is more....they will cover any deficiencies in the car that need servicing in the first 30 days. Do you see how all of this helped to break the seven year spell? My parents are seriously thinking of purchasing a new car within the year and without a second thought, I whole heartedly recommended Budget Car Sales.
