Chris lortie is the only reason I bought a hyundai in the first place. Came to look at something that wouldn't fit my needs. Left that night in my 2022 sonata nline. We had a horrible experience dealing with Mr. Steve Edwards, the financial manager, for purchasing a Hyundai Elantra. Steve was pushy and used scare sales tactic to try to push us to purchase a bad dea Edwards, the financial manager, for purchasing a Hyundai Elantra. Steve was pushy and used scare sales tactic to try to push us to purchase a bad deal, extended warranty that we did not want, making us pay thousands of dollars extra over the amortization period of the loan for a brand new car that has already 5 years manufacture warranty. Every word that came out of his mouth was a lie. He manipulated us, tried to incite between us and really crossed red line in a relationship between a business and its customers. Also he never wore a mask which made us uncomfortable. Stay away from this guy at all cost More
Brought new car for 2nd service aka oil change brought my own Castrol oil as don't really trust Quaker State. Was told that alignment is off on the vehicle for some reason. Anyways after 3+ hours and 76cad l own Castrol oil as don't really trust Quaker State. Was told that alignment is off on the vehicle for some reason. Anyways after 3+ hours and 76cad later was told to pickup vehicle. Being a mechanic I like to double-check if everything is done right and boy it wasn't. Jug with remaining oil was missing, upon asking I got it back and it was barely any left which gave me a hint to check amount of oil in the engine as jug contains 5L and this engine takes 4.5L or even less and sure enough, engine oil overfilled l, which can be detrimental to the engine. Another annoying thing that rustproofing reminder sticker which was next to oil change sticker was ripped off what hints to absence of any attention to the job at hand. Other thing that surprised me was persistence on 6000km oil changes as per old schedule, since multiple dealers, service manual and ticket with bluelink confirms that fully synthetic oil should be changed no later than 8000km, scare tactics or honest advice? Things like that doesn't sit with me well as a customer or a licensed tech. More
