Eevn with some minor after-sales technical issues, the staff went out of their way to look after us and resolve our issues. For the second time, we are happy and loyal customers and will no doubt return for a third and subsequent purchase. Looking for a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible, we came to the Autopark Barrie. New to the area, we were pleasantly surprised with the selection and the set up of the dealership. Ivan quickly figured out exactly what we were looking for and was able to show us one that just came in. Not only did he produce a vehicle with the low km's we were looking for, he produced the exact car we were hoping to get, AND right in our budget. We had been to other dealers and nobody else had what we wanted. Ivan went out of his way (offering to come in on his own time) to finalize paper work, and again later if need be, deliver the vehicle. He was always friendly and up beat...even with me re-scheduling multiple times. The dealership was great, they just got the car in when we viewed it, they had it cleaned up for us, gave us new brakes and tires. They made sure we left with a safe and reliable car! Well now! what can we say about Gordon...there is so much to share! Gordon has the patience of a saint and had many times to put that great strength into practice with my overly cautious husband. We had been driving the same vehicle since new 2005 so this was not an easy sale. We visited Autopark Barrie so many times, I think the other sales people thought we would never buy a vehicle - professional tire kickers - making comparisons. Yes we did visit other dealerships but the words 'sleazy car salesman' spring to mind. However, we proved his associates wrong and we did buy and I believe that is only because Gordon is Gordon. He has the "3 P's" which I believe are key in sales - Personality, Patience and Professionalism [I am a realtor so I know people]. He has a kindly easygoing manner, and yet professional to a T. He knows his product and instead of pushing a purchase on us, he let us make our own decision and once that was done IT WAS DONE! I love our new Chevy Equinox! It was very fairly priced, in good shape and with low mileage which is key in my business. It needed a couple of things attended to and Gordon made sure these were done. He was efficient and considerate to the finish. I meet a lot of people in my business and you can be sure that if any of them are looking for a vehicle I will be recommending Gordon. I am very happy with my truck and the final sale. When i first went to buy my truck, i was mislead about the warrinty. I was told by Shannon Copeland that snowplowing was covered under warrinty. Shannon Copeland said " I can get it for you no worry". I phoned the warrinty company myself and they said " any altercations done to the vehicle voids warrinty". Now you tell me how Shannon Copeland did not know that. She knew!
