massive oil leak after maintenance had full maintenance done on my Q5 next day drove to work and flood of oil on my garage floor and almost no oil left in the engine.Had to add 4 litres had full maintenance done on my Q5 next day drove to work and flood of oil on my garage floor and almost no oil left in the engine.Had to add 4 litres of oil every few miles to manage to. get the car back to the dealership on a thurs service dept closed for easter .Oil all over my engine and smoking badly,pool of oil on my unistonw driveway and a flood of oil in my underground parking at work.Mechanic had not tightened oil filter and oil filter plug..When I dropped off the car not happy no manager or anyone acknowledged me ,wes given a dirty courtesy car ans was told come back tuesday,waiting to see the rest of the story not the first poor experience with this service department the last time the did not put in the required amount of engine oil after a service call had to go back for them to top off the oil. More

Poor service on a 2018 Audi Q5 I am unhappy with my 2018 Audi Q5 and the dealer who sold me the car – Audi West Island in Montréal. After four months and 10,000 km, the car develope I am unhappy with my 2018 Audi Q5 and the dealer who sold me the car – Audi West Island in Montréal. After four months and 10,000 km, the car developed problems that Audi West Island could not solve, generated two towing situations, and left me without my car for 11 days. I bought a new car to avoid these kinds of problems and now think I would have been better keeping my 2014 BMW X3 for another year. After negotiating an attractive sales agreement for a new Q5 with Julia at Audi West Island, I took possession of the car in mid-September 2017. Together with her sales manager, Bedik, Julia delivered the goods. I was unable to complete an online evaluation of Julia because the deadline for completing the evaluation expired before I got to completing it. On a January 2018 evening, after a 30 second warning of a “drive system malfunction”, my Audi Q5 chugged to a halt. Early the next morning, I called Audi Care and the car was carried by the CAA on a flatbed truck to Audi West Island . While my car was in service, I was given the use of an Audi Allroad. In the afternoon of January 18th and again on the morning of January 21st, I called Audi West Island for news of the car, to no avail. My service advisor, Prince, was absent on the morning of January 21st and his colleague Eric failed to return my calls (and this was not the first time). So I was unable to travel to Ottawa as I do every week because the rental contract specified that the car could not be taken outside of Québec. After six days, my Q5 was returned to me on the morning of January 23rd. The problem was diagnosed as one of excess oil on four spark plugs. So Audi West Island moved up the 15,000 km service inspection to 10,000 km and left it at that. Audi West Island Service seemed to be convinced that I had added oil to the engine, which was not true… Despite a commitment to the contrary, the Q5 was returned unwashed… On January 24th, I made my trip to Ottawa. On arrival, after leaving highway 417, the engine began misfiring. I called Prince at Audi West Island and told him I would bring the Q5 back to him in the late afternoon and asked him to have a replacement car ready for me. On my return to Montréal in mid-afternoon, the Q5 started misfiring again and the message “drive system malfunction” reappeared. I managed to get as far as an exit ramp off highway 417, 20 km east of Ottawa, before the engine died. I called Audi Care, was reassured by an OPP patrolman who stopped to help, and again transported by a CAA flatbed truck to an Audi dealer. The CAA took the Q5 to Audi Ottawa on Montréal Road. After a 10 minute inspection of the motor, one of their mechanics said the problem was almost certainly a leak in the high pressure fuel pump. The fuel leak caused the oil level to rise and that is why there was excess oil in the engine, a potentially explosive situation! I was given a cheap replacement vehicle from Enterprise to take me back to Montréal. In Montréal, there was a message from Audi West Island in my telephone voice box saying that, as far as their service manager was concerned, excess oil in the engine was “not an urgent thing”, and not to come back to the dealership until the next morning… Four and a half days later, I got the Q5 back from Audi Ottawa with a new fuel pump, spark plugs, oil and filter change, a draining of the gas tank, a car wash, etc. – not without wondering when the next brick was going to fall from the roof… Audi Ottawa sent me a survey concerning the quality of the work done; Audi West Island did not… More
