Audi does not replace defective parts that are under full warranty. I have a 2023 Audi A4 with 60,000km on it. My local garage was trying to top up the coolant level and when they unscrewed the coolant reservoir cap it came apart in the mechanic’s hand. The springs inside the cap flew out and it would not go back together. I took the cap pieces to Pfaff Audi Newmarket where I had purchased the car. Their service tech Dave Psotka, agreed that the coolant cap was not considered to be a wear part and should be covered under warranty. He consulted with his service manager and said I should purchase a new cap at the time ($144) and he would submit a warranty claim for me. After one month and two visits back to the dealer, Dave told me that Audi Canada said they would not reimburse me for the defective part because the car was not being serviced by the dealer. He gave me the number for Audi Canada to call. I talked to Audi Canada, gave them the details of my claim and they said they would review it. After a week, the agent called me back and said that because the car was not being serviced by the Audi dealer, the warranty did not cover the defective coolant cap. He could not tell me where in the Audi Warranty contract it says that defective parts are only covered if an Audi mechanic services the car. That is because there is no such exclusion in the warranty. For $144 it is not worth taking it to court. But it has left me with a very bad impression of Audi Canada and Pfaff Audi Newmarket. I will not be purchasing another Audi in the future. More

I recently experienced the most frustrating customer service from the General Manager at Pfaff Audi Newmarket. Her responses when they finally came were unprofessional and flippant. Instead of deescalat service from the General Manager at Pfaff Audi Newmarket. Her responses when they finally came were unprofessional and flippant. Instead of deescalating the situation, she did the opposite, and made things so much more frustrating. It took a month to receive a response, and only after I reached out again with the next level manager copied. My issue was not resolved whatsoever. I was essentially told to suck it up. Before this experience, I was so happy with the service team, and my car; but the GM really let me down; she has lost me (and my network) as a customer. And the sad reality is that she clearly doesn't care. More
Buyer beware! Horribly disappointed and upset with Pfaff Audi in Newmarket. If you have more money than brains or time, then you won't care, but if you would rather put money into your child's education or family vacation vs. unnecessary service or a fancy coffee at the dealership, then read on. Purchased a vehicle from them early in the year. While Ryan was courteous and patient, I felt like I was being upsold at every corner. I also rec'd conflicting info from him - ie. that I had to buy extended warranty at the time of purchase through Audi, which wasn't the case (you can buy it anytime), as confirmed by their service dept. Only 1 month after buying the car (and Audi doing the safety), I had an issue with it misfiring. I sent a note to Ryan to ask his advice, but once I told him I didn't have an extended warranty, he never replied. Despite this, I took it in anyways as I needed my car to be working, spoke to Brendan (Service Advisor), who appeared to be very knowledgable and professional. However, after they ran a diagnostic for $180, he told me I needed $1700 worth of service (fuel injector and insisted on a carb clean). Though at the time I was trusting what Brendan had told me, knowing something about cars, something seemed not quite right (and knowing that dealerships make most of their money through service), I was skeptical and decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did! After a little troubleshooting and using basic logic, I had determined that while the fuel injector dx was plausible, it wasn't the only possible dx, but likely the most expensive. I decided to do some more investigating with a mechanic friend and we found the culprit to be a faulty ignition coil - a $36 part! Once I replaced it, it ran like a dream and saved over $1600 in the process! I'm not completely sure, but I don't think Brendan was deliberately misleading me and was likely let down by his service team. This being said, don't be fooled by service departments, even if you don't know much about cars. Look online or buy a code reader - they are cheap compared to a costly service bill - and there's enough info online (youtube) that you can understand for you to know if something smells fishy / illogical, or talk to someone else who you trust to give you an honest second opinion. I have let Audi know my disappointment and am curious to see what they have to say or what goodwill they might offer, but I'm not holding my breath. Caveat emptor! More
Not their fault and nothing they can do! I took the car in in February only to be told nothing was wring with it, The problem continued and the check engine light came on this month. I have warranty thro in in February only to be told nothing was wring with it, The problem continued and the check engine light came on this month. I have warranty through a third party. Phaff called the warranty company and indicated to me that the work that needed to be done was covered. They did not initiate a claim on the day of service as they had done when I took the car in a year ago for another issue. The warrant company advised the part is in fact not covered and now I am stuck paying over $1000 in service, diagnostics, parts and rentals. Phaff advised me that they were just going by what the warranty company said and had no way to know if I even had warranty. Poor customer service. They got their money and that's all that matters. Climbing in th Horrible service department. Since buying the vehicle the back hatch release has been faulty. I reported this just after picking it up. Climbing in through my back seat to access still. They have no record of my unanswered phone messages regarding this issue and do not plan to fix it unless I pay for a diagnostic and repair. No star rating for them as this is not my first service issue with this team. Expensive and rude if they respond at all. More
Would never recommend Worst customer service! I called regarding a flat tire and was transferred to the service department. After no answer I called again and was put on ho Worst customer service! I called regarding a flat tire and was transferred to the service department. After no answer I called again and was put on hold for over 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I was informed that everyone in the service department was busy and that I would get a call back as soon as someone was free. Waited 2 hours and called back myself to only be told that unless I got there in the next 15 minutes, my car would not be looked at today. Would not recommend using this dealership! More
