Just a heads-up to anyone thinking of taking their vehicle to Downtown Audi: I ended up spending nearly $2,300 on what should have been a fairly minor service and some exploratory diagnostics—only to vehicle to Downtown Audi: I ended up spending nearly $2,300 on what should have been a fairly minor service and some exploratory diagnostics—only to be told I’d need over $5,000 more in repairs, with still no clear answer on what the actual problem was. I brought my Audi SQ5 in after getting an “air suspension malfunction” warning. I paid $220 for a diagnostic, expecting some insight—but they couldn’t tell me what was wrong. I didn’t even get an update until late in the day. They suggested replacing the battery and checking the wiring, which I agreed to, hoping it would finally get to the root of the issue. It didn’t. Days later, I was told they still didn’t know what was causing the problem but wanted thousands more to replace a wiring harness. At no point was there a confident diagnosis—just more guessing. What really pushed me over the edge was the lack of support and transparency. I wasn’t offered a courtesy vehicle and had to chase down basic updates. When I asked for copies of my personal information—including any call recordings—they flat-out refused, even though I never gave consent to be recorded in the first place. (For anyone reading this: you do have the right to request this under Canadian privacy law, PIPEDA.) I’ve had other frustrating experiences here before, but this one sealed it. I’m taking my car elsewhere—and I strongly suggest you think twice before trusting this dealership with yours. You deserve honesty, real answers, and to feel like your time and money matter. Sadly, I didn’t get any of that here More

bought a 2018 cpo warranty s4. day after picking it up engine light came on. the salesman lied to me about having brand new brakes as i had to replace them couple months later. pay day after picking it up engine light came on. the salesman lied to me about having brand new brakes as i had to replace them couple months later. payed couple thousand out of pocket to for painting all the chrome around the car black and a new front grill. all the chrome parts came back wrapped not painted and the new front grill made my front camera unusable. the front speakers in my car came slightly burned which i didnt notice till couple weeks later as it was only scratchy at louder volumes. serveral months later now the speaker is much worse. they did a "software update" to fix my fuel pressure error code from my engine light which removed the light on my dashboard but not the problem. test drove with the mechanic and to point out the issues and he completely denied it even thought we were sitting together in the car. now several months later all the beautiful pops and gurgles from my engine are completely gone and the general sound of my engine is starting to worry me. do yourself a favor avoid these fools if i could go back i would have never bought this car and for sure would have avoided that dealership. this is my 2nd audi (1st expreience was great-new lease) and my next car will not be audi and my experience with audi downtown is in part to blame. would have had better customer service in afghanistan. Lease Closeout: I am writing this review with great disappointment on the lease closeout process. I will break the review in three phases, as the experience has been different. 1. Closeout Options: disappointment on the lease closeout process. I will break the review in three phases, as the experience has been different. 1. Closeout Options: May be the mistake I made at the outset that I wanted to buy back the car, the sales executive & financial advisor. Even after multiple requests, I would not get details on buyout price. Overall terrible experience, and I would say its on buyer to do the math, as the dealer did not have any interest 2. Inspection and Safety Check: Its a pandemic car, and was driver 30K for 4years, its relatively new, parked in Garage for the most time, and the break rotors were at 8mm vs 10mm being new. However, my safety was rejected for the front ones and I have asked to replace, and the cost was $1500, thankfully I could do it outside. By the way, it should be noted, that if you buy at a dealer, they don't accept safety inspection from another dealer of Audi, so every time I had to go back downtown for recheck. Each inspection costs $350, and when I went back second time to check, this time they rejected back rotors, and after push back I didn't had to pay the inspection for second time. It was Friday evening, and the guy was heading home, and he complained that there was a warning that rotors are bad, while when I checked with the service rep, we could not find the warning, but the mechanic was insistent that he saw and hence the rotors to be replaced for back. I had it fixed, and went third time for inspection where all 4 rotors were replaced with the new ones to show that it did change. Inspection was finally passed to replace relatively new rotors with absolute new rotors. 3. Finance: Coming to financials, it's another disaster. When I got my car 4years back I paid Safety deposit of $3900. Common sense is that I expected to pay negating the deposit, however, Audi finance does not work like that, I had to pay full amount as a bank draft(not a cheque), and Audi finance takes 6 weeks to send a cheque back with the deposit amount. Although I tried to push back as I was not prepared to pay this additional amount and wait for 6 weeks, I was told I don't have a choice. Fast forward, 8 weeks, I don't receive a cheque, I called Audi finance, and I was told it was sent, and if I didnt receive, they can send again, and I need to ensure I get it, I asked the agent tell me how can I ensure I get it, and asked what is the issue, where is it stuck, and how do we ensure that I get this time, agent has no clue. When I pushed back on resending the cheque, I was told there is another process where they can deposit to bank directly that they have on file, I was like, you should have done that to start with. Anyways, I am waiting for deposit. All in all, it's a terrible experience with the dealer. Their processes, and dealership are designed commercially, and not care of customer experience. More
