Pathetic, Bait and Switch Tactics I have been looking for a specific type of vehicle for over 6 months. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Applewood KIA had it on their lot. I wa I have been looking for a specific type of vehicle for over 6 months. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Applewood KIA had it on their lot. I want to make it clear that I was not interested in a KIA, and after this experience I will not be interested in this dealer, or KIA as a brand in the future. Here's why: The salesman was friendly and greeted us, took us on a test drive in the vehicle and said that we would be taken care of, as the ads say "It's all good at Applewood". That part was fine. For the next 20 mins we went over the price of the vehicle and monthly payments and he was attentive and looked after us. As soon as it got to financing, I realized the type of "sales tactics" they're pulling. The finance guy sat us down, took our information and explained that we qualify for financing from a few banks. He needed some time to get numbers back. We sat and waited for over 3 hours, before heading out to lunch as he set the expectation that it shouldn't take too long to get an approval. Then we heard back two days later stating that we could be financed for a fully loaded KIA SUV (which we explained explicitly that we were not interested in). The finance guy went back to the banks trying to get an approval (which we thought was easy, but he stated it was taking longer because of the long weekend, they're backed up etc etc.) The thing is... this guy knew that they were backed up and made us sit and wait in the office while he worked a deal out on the KIA SUV. After receiving news from the bank that we were approved, there was an outrageous rate of interest from a single bank, again, for a KIA SUV but no word on the vehicle that we wanted. I went to the dealership to speak with the finance guy about what we wanted and see what he was doing and he was at the other location and "couldn't get back to us". I tried to speak with the sales manager but was intercepted by a very young salesman who passed messages between myself and the sales manager as the sales manager didn't want to come greet me, or speak to me about the service I was receiving. That was enough for me, and I went to another dealership, purchased the vehicle that I wanted to purchase, with half the interest rate offered by the SAME BANK KIA got an approval for and I got bonus gifts and exceptional service from all involved. Turns out the finance guy from the new dealership used to work for KIA and after saying only the location and that we had a bad experience he said "I used to work there, let me guess... they tried to hard sell you a KIA". He nailed it, and after not hearing back from Applewood KIA Surrey, or hearing back from the finance guy (who still hasn't called us back since MAY LONG). Avoid this place, unless you want a KIA with a rate of interest tacked up astronomically so that this shady dealership can make a profit off of your hard earned money. They used a number of sales tactics to try to disguise their true intentions. More

Figure your work out I usually deal with original applewood but they do not have there mechanic shop open on the weekends so I made an appointment to get an oil change on I usually deal with original applewood but they do not have there mechanic shop open on the weekends so I made an appointment to get an oil change on a Saturday for 2pm.. I go there and they tell me it is going to be an hour and a half to a two hour wait. Why the xxxx did I make an appointment at two then. Incompetent management of there shop is a big problem and over booking there shop for the tasks at hand. If you value time management do not get them to do any work on your vehicles. Needless to say I left there at 2:05 went to jiffy lube and at 2:25 my oil change was done yet it was not free like it was supposed to be through applewood. More

The time i have spent, the wasted hours chasing a unicorn If i had known this beautiful car was going to such a nightmare to deal with i would never have bought it Thank god for colton my salesman He was a definite help After writing this review, in all fairness peter the general manager and glen the president resolved these concerns and hopefully this is resolved and will be a happy customer once again More

waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!! poor customer service from what i received was talking to a sale man for the last few weeks now finally had time to make my way all the way out there poor customer service from what i received was talking to a sale man for the last few weeks now finally had time to make my way all the way out there due to my medical condition told him i wanted to test drive the car we got there and the car wasn't there he was cluess that someone the day before put a hold on a it and was out for liek a 2 hr test drive we went into another car that we didn't wanna see came back 20 min later car we wanted to test drive wasn't there so we left maybe not the sales man fault i think it has to do with communication i know everyone is trying to sell the same car but a bit of honestly would be nice and proper communication so we went to kia west and had no problems!!!!!!!! i'm sorry i had to write this but its BUSINESS More
Sales person Zora Layegh is wonderful! My husband and I recently bought our 4th Kia. This one is the new 2016 Limited edition Soul. It's awesome! Fun to drive and has great features on it. We met Zora this time around and had a great experience dealing with her. We had shopped around at several other dealerships and they could not make our trade in and purchase workout to what we needed. We were about to just forget about the whole idea of trading our other car in when we walked into the Langley Kia and were greeted by Zora. She was like a breath of fresh air!! No pressure, just helpful and listened to what we needed. We explained what we wanted and told her what we were looking for. She told us she would try to make it happen for us. She gave us a few options after a discussion with her manager and we liked what they came up with and ended up driving away in our new car! Thank you Zora, I have never taken the time to write a review before but I am a Realtor and truly appreciate the care and attention you gave to us and would like other people to know you really do care about your customers as I do. They could not do what he promised and when I asked for my deposit back he hung up on me! I would never recomend applewood Kia. I did purchase the same vehicle at another Kia dealer, they were honest with me on pricing and didn't fill me with B.S. It's not my first car I don't understand whey applewood treated me like I don't know anything. I did get my deposit back after speaking with the manager. More

They went above and beyond to help me find the right vehicle for me that also was within my budget. Being a first time brand new vehicle buyer I was slightly nervous going into it but both Dan and Ben were so personable and kind that I felt at ease the whole time! Also bev in financing was a pleasure to be around as well. Overall, I feel more than happy with my experience with everyone at applewood. Highly recomend!! More
