Mazda CX-3 GT and my Sales Representative Dilan I had been looking for my first car for a while now, and just never really had that feeling that I was going to end up with the experience and car tha I had been looking for my first car for a while now, and just never really had that feeling that I was going to end up with the experience and car that I wanted, versus the feeling of settling, when it was all said and done. I dedicated a lot of time to the search especially over the past year, and even had my dad help out with looking at prices, makes and models. After giving up on dealerships near our home, my dad ended up going out on a limb, and checking out dealerships near my office, while I busy with some projects at work. He eventually made his way to Airport Mazda to look at their lineup, and ended up meeting Dilan, my Sales rep, as he was walking in the door. As my work schedule was getting busier, I had thought to hold off looking for a bit, but my dad told me about the easy going experience he had just simply trying to get some information about the vehicles available, and told me to make some time to come in to check it out. When I went over to take a look, I was blown away by the friendly, informative and helpful manner of Dilan. I had a chance to look at the new CX-3 model, and Dilan was very straight forward and came across highly knowledgable about the car during my initial meeting with him(which was a night & day experience compared to the previous dealerships' representatives that I had unfortunately dealt with). He spent a good amount of time walking me through the layout of the vehicle, and all the options it came with. Usually I don't like to make a decision right away, but I felt this was the car for me, and I wasn't left with that feeling of double guessing myself. What was even better for me was that I didn't hear the same excuse I had heard from another rep I dealt with at another dealership earlier in the year, when I almost pulled the trigger on a sedan. And that excuse was that it would take X amount of weeks, or possibly a month(s) to get the vehicle I wanted, with the options and specs that I wanted. I had ended up walking away due to that in the past, but with Dilan, I believed him when he said upfront that he would look into finding what I needed, and give me or my dad an exact answer of when the car would get here. Imagine my surprise when less than 24 hours later, I find out that he would be driving down to another Mazda dealership with my exact car requirements, and bringing the vehicle to the Airport dealership himself. Dilan also mentioned that he would work closely with his Sales Manager Ganesh(who was very nice when I met him as well), to work as quickly as possible to process the car and paperwork in order for me to pick it up shortly. Within another 24 hours or so, I was making arrangements to book a half day at work after some meetings before the long weekend, and then coming over to dealership to see my car. I actually arrived a little earlier than expected, but instead of making me and my father wait(who wanted to experience the moment of my first car with me) till the time of pickup, Dilan got it ready quicker, and once again to my surprise, the majority of the time we spent at the dealership before actually driving back with my new CX-3 GT, was actually spent sitting in the car and standing around it on the lot, while Dilan gave me a really awesome tutorial session on all the little tips and optimal settings for the vehicle. For someone who understands and has experienced the frustration, and wasted time of dealing with other representatives at other car companies, and taking so long to finally get the chance to experience what buying their first car and a new one at that, I can say that in this case, I am really glad that I had the opportunity to wait for this kind of awesome experience. Purchased a mazda5 on June 13th My husband and I had been used car shopping for a while. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience and we were fed up with dishonest car sales My husband and I had been used car shopping for a while. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience and we were fed up with dishonest car salesmen. We had been shopping for a mazda5, our first ever minivan. Shopping for our brand new nissan rogue back in 2011 was a pleasure as it was just a matter of finding the best deal for the right car, but going used car shopping was a whole other level. You had to be able to trust that the car you were purchasing was in good condition for our family. We visited many many dealerships in the GTA, including Orangeville Mazda where we were baffled by the way the car salesman acted and pressured us. We actually almost purchased a car at Orangeville mazda because the van was perfect, the price was ok but it came with two winter tires, which was a bonus and the km's were unbeatable. However, we walked out of that dealership solely because the car salesman was terrible, and acted in a manner that was despicable and made us really dislike car salesmen. At this point, my husband and I were ready to give up on our search. Our opinion changed from the moment we walked into Airport Mazda. We were greeted by Nick, who was friendly and funny and very relaxed. However, we weren't convinced because from our experience, they are all like that until you put in an offer and things get tensed. We looked at the car, test drove it, talked about it and Nick answered our many questions. After we were done and offer time came, Nick, who had spoken to my husband previously already knew the price we wanted to get. Without making it any more stressful for us, he pulled out the offer sheet and said ok, let me speak to the manager and try my best. After a few back and forth between the sales managers and us, we made the decision to go for it. We couldn't believe how easy and non-stressful it was from beginning to end. We were actually laughing throughout the process even though it was a big decision. Nick is a funny, genuinely nice person who cares about his clients and tries very hard to make people happy. He is also great with the kids and even shared the snacks he bought for his son with them when our boys weren't behaving. Ganesh, the general sales manager was also very kind. It appears that the entire team at Airport Mazda have a very great and relaxed atmosphere and they clearly work in an environment that fosters respect for one another and this greatly reflects on their employees. I am happy to say that after many months shopping for a used car, it ended up being a great one and we are happy with the mazda5 we purchased from Airport Mazda. Thank you to the team at Airport Mazda for being so kind and making this process easy for us. Customer service is incredibly important to us, if you need to go car shopping, Nick Grewal is your guy, he will provide you with the best and least stressful experience. Go ahead, try the other car dealerships like we did but you will find that Airport Mazda is the one you will want to shop at. More
