Refreshing experience Firstly, I don't usually do 'Reviews'! I make an exception in this case ONLY because my experience with the staff mentioned herein at Airdrie Chrysle Firstly, I don't usually do 'Reviews'! I make an exception in this case ONLY because my experience with the staff mentioned herein at Airdrie Chrysler was indeed an 'exceptional experience' during this most recent search for a new vehicle. Upon making the decision to replace my current vehicle, I conducted extensive research, both online and with in person visits to numerous auto dealerships (visiting over 15 dealers) This included all 3 major Brands, Ford, GM, and Ram/Chrysler. As per my habit, I reviewed offerings from the 3 major brands to determine which currently met my wants. As per usual, the Ram pickups won out in virtually every area. (This is my sixth Ram pickup) That RAM always comes in at 'thousands of dollars less in price was only a bonus to my selection. Once I confirmed that Ram was the front runner, I established exactly what specifications had to be., i.e. 2017, Ram, Laramie Longhorn, Crew cab, 4x4, 6.7 Cummins, Aisin trans, etc. Then came an online search for this vehicle in a preferred colour choice. I was only able to locate one such vehicle at a dealer several hundred kilometres from where I live. Long distance negotiations ensued and an offer was made by the dealer for a selling price to include my trade in. Note that I had also received several other 'offers' from other dealers in two provinces, BC & Alberta. These offers were all over the map, and so far disparate from one another it was obvious that the majority of these sales people should include a gun and a mask as part of their working uniform! However, with a quote for the vehicle that exactly matched my 'specifications in hand, as a last minute thought I attended at my local dealership (Airdrie Chrysler) to seek out the salesman from whom I had purchased my current vehicle (2015 Ram eco-diesel 1500) i.e. Steve McFarlane. (This was an afterthought only because an online search indicated that Airdrie Chrysler did not have anything in their inventory that met my specifications hence I had not bothered to attend there.) Remembering however, that the same situation existed on my last purchase from them, so I was disappointed to find out that Steve was no longer in the sales dept. and was now working in an administrative/management area of the dealership. Steve, however, took the time to introduce me to Jim Prizeman and informed him I was one of Steve's former customers and requested that Jim help me out with my new search. With that introduction in hand, Jim set to work via dealer locator access to trace vehicles that met my specified requirements. He enlisted sales manager Chad Boal in this search and over several days and considerable effort were able to locate 4 possible units for my consideration including ones in other provinces. (One of these turned out to be the exact vehicle I had already received the final 'rock bottom', 'below our cost' quote from another dealership. Airdrie's quote was $3500 cheaper for the same vehicle including their cost to transport it! ) No one at Airdrie Chrysler wasted my time trying to change my mind or sell me something close to, but not exactly what I wanted, only because it was currently sitting on their lot. In the end, they found me a vehicle that not only MET, but exceeded my specifications, i.e. 2017 Ram Laramie Longhorn Limited, 4x4, Crew cab, 6.7 Cummins, Aisin Trans etc., etc. In the end they sold me this vehicle for as much as $13,000 cheaper than competitive bids once all the extended warranties, protection and service plans, and after market accessories were included. After acquiring my new vehicle I was relating how impressed I was with the deal to a buddy from BC. He in turn contacted Jim and Chad and arranged purchase of the truck I traded in , flew in to Calgary airport and drove it home to Prince George (getting 34.5 miles per gallon on the trip! I'm going to miss that! lol. ) More

Service appointment I am sorry to say this is not a good review. I initially booked my car in early so I could get in and out. It was in for an update on my transmissio I am sorry to say this is not a good review. I initially booked my car in early so I could get in and out. It was in for an update on my transmission program. When I got in I was told there was also a recall on the passenger side air bag. That was okay, but what I was told next did not work with my plan. I was in a 7 but had not been told that the techs did not start until 8. So much for in and out. I chose to take a shuttle home instead of waiting, but was not told that they did not start unti 7:45. When my car was ready, also two hours before I was initially told it would be I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for the shuttle to arrive. I think I hear the driver apologize for missing my pickup. Had I not called, they would have not come for me. Overall, it was not a good experience for this service. More

T..G. Pawlak did not try to "sell" me anything. I told him what I wanted and he got it for me at a most reasonable price; actually offering me 40% more for my trade in than one other dealer. I appreciated the very transparent all in pricing given to me in writing before the deal was made AND I really like the fact there was no high pressure sales effort to get me to buy the extras or the "packages" after the sale was made.
