I will drive the hour to this dealer!!! I'm not going to get long winded and go into detail of my lemon nightmare (2013 Santa Fe 2.0 sport AWD) bought from Clarington Hyundai... Put a horrib I'm not going to get long winded and go into detail of my lemon nightmare (2013 Santa Fe 2.0 sport AWD) bought from Clarington Hyundai... Put a horrible taste in my mouth... As does Hyundai Canada who has absolutely no power to help. I was told pretty much "too bad". They might as well not even answer the phone. Agincourt Hyundai, (Nick/Asif directly) who my brother has been dealing with for a while, and extremely happy with, has now had me walking out of all 3 of my visits feeling I was given the time a person deserves for such a big purchase, felt I am valuable to them, and that there was a solution to my problems! Really comfortable place where you feel welcome and they bend over backwards to make your day better. I've been driven out for lunch, given a car to go home, and have actually enjoyed my time there. Good on them! More

I had a faint sound that was coming along with the engine sound. I bought my car to be checked last week and I had a lady mechanic that came with me for a ride to check the sound and took her a while to realize what sound i was referring to. So she said it looks like nothing to be worried about and it might be normal for my car age and mileage to be making a sound like this!!! we talking about a brand new car i bought from them and it had less than 37 K. they checked the car and after half hour they told me nothing is wrong with it... I was still hearing the noise and I felt something really wrong with the car... I took my car to another dealer with very good reviews online " Toronto Hyundai". very friendly staff and i was very impressed with the service.. after the mechanic drove my car to check the sound they inspected my car and to my surprise they told me the 2 front brake pads had only 2 mm left on them and its not safe to drive the car!!! I was really shocked and had them do the service.. and drove back my car with no sound I'm so disappointed for a big dealership not to be checking for something so basic as the brake pads!! I will not go back again for service and I don't advice anyone that's concerned about their safety to be going there.. More
5 STARS ARE FAKE REVIEWS Ive had multiple issues with my 2010 Santa Fe... 1st bad experience my santa fe would not start normally..WEEK OF BRINGING CAR TO THEM AND THEM TEL Ive had multiple issues with my 2010 Santa Fe... 1st bad experience my santa fe would not start normally..WEEK OF BRINGING CAR TO THEM AND THEM TELLING ME THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO.. THEN AFTER 3 WEEKS they identified the problem as "lose fuel plug". 2nd The santa fe had always had battery problems. I paid them for a full check up (NO ISSUES FOUND) then bought a battery from the dealership.. 2 MONTHS LATER (NOW) THE BATTERY IS DEAD AGAIN.. Seriously? It makes me wonder if they simply boosted it and charged me a new battery and I've heard stories that dealer swaps recycled battery.. I don't know but a new battery dying in a month and half DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. More
Brand New 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Limited My wife and I were looking at acquiring a new mid level SUV for sometime. We test drove all the major brands including Lexus, Mercedes, Mazda, Nissan My wife and I were looking at acquiring a new mid level SUV for sometime. We test drove all the major brands including Lexus, Mercedes, Mazda, Nissan etc... However, as you know purchasing a new vehicle is a very fishy process. I found that you really need to put your Math and Communication skills to full use. Our representative MAX was the best Customer Service Representative in that entire dealership. Although he is the top Sales Man there we did not push for the sale at all. We were able to save over $7000 dollars on a Brand New Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Limited. Our sales rep MAX managed to throw in a number of freebies for us. We got our Santa Fe for an amazing deal because I had already calculated the dealers commission and the sales rep commission and made an offer. Our sales rep presented the offer to the Sales Manager and they accepted. The entire process was smooth until it came to the PDI Inspection. During this time we were advised to come by in the evening at around 7PM so it was quite dark outside. While my wife and I were inspecting the vehicle we noticed that the entire vehicle was scratched all over everywhere. It looked like someone took sandpaper and went crazy with it. I advised my sales rep in which he allowed us to drive the vehicle inside so we can view it in the light. There and behold scratches everywhere even the roof top. Immediately all manager including the Owner, Sales Manager, Service Manager all checked it out and was astonished by it. They advised us to take it home but I would never accept something damaged that I just purchased brand new. I told them that they would need to provide us with a vehicle while this gets fixed etc... They provided us with a rental of the same vehicle which was the right thing to do. However, it took a number of days to re-inspect the repaired vehicle. Finally we managed to re-inspect the vehicle again noticed that they did try their best in polishing out everything however I decided to take it anyways as they did a free paint protection etc... The second day of owning the vehicle I polished it and waxed it out myself and have it looking stunning. I will wake it look even better in the spring with some liquid glass. It currently sits on the driveway as it just got rust proof from Krown for $134.00 with a CAA Discount. The vehicle also qualified for New Vehicle Warranty from Krown since it is brand new. As long as it is rust proofed every year it is covered under warranty and if ever there happens to be any rust Krown will send the vehicle to the body shop to have it repaired free of cost. So think about spending that $899 when you are at the dealership. I gave it 5 Stars for Customer Service because our Sales Rep MAX was amazing, 1 Star for poor quality work during preparation for PDI. 5 Stars for being extremely friendly even though we had some issues. 5 Stars for Price because we paid extremely below cost price. and 2.5 Stars for a fair experience. It was the best and it wasn't the worst. More
My licence plate covers now say Agincourt! :) Even after a few bad reviews, I visited agincourt hyundai for a noise in my gensis coupe. I was greeted n treated super well and figured out the wheel Even after a few bad reviews, I visited agincourt hyundai for a noise in my gensis coupe. I was greeted n treated super well and figured out the wheel bearing was the noise. They didn't have one in stock so they had to get one from a warehouse or something so they shuttled me to the mall so I didn't have to wait. Then they picked me up when it was ready and my car was like new again! I'm pretty sure those poor reviews are isolated incidents and have reasons to them, but I had a very very good experince. I switched my licnece plate covers to Agincourt ones now. :) More
IMPRESSED I had about 1 month left on my warranty and I took my car to kingscross Hyundai because my gas gauge wasn't reading properly. Have an 08 Santa Fe I re I had about 1 month left on my warranty and I took my car to kingscross Hyundai because my gas gauge wasn't reading properly. Have an 08 Santa Fe I read everywhere online that it's a coming problem and warranty does cover it. But when I showed up at kingscross they said I would have to pay for it because I use xxxxty gas. A friend had told me they've been going to Agincourt Hyundai for years so they referred me to joe and Sujee there! I made an appointment and they took care of my car right away! They even have me a courtesy car so I could drop my daughter off to school. Good job Guys keep up the amazing service! More
Going the extra Step! I have been going to another local Hyundai shop for over 14 years, and finally was referred to Agincourt Hyundai by a friend. I was a little skeptical I have been going to another local Hyundai shop for over 14 years, and finally was referred to Agincourt Hyundai by a friend. I was a little skeptical of trying a new service spot but I did so anyways. Wow. Just wow! The quality and customer service was so much better than my old location. They serviced my vehicle, gave me a complimentary wash, recommended future services coming up, and the owner even gave me a free chcolate bar and pop lol. Very nice guys! Will be travelling a little further for better service from now on. :) More
Don't do it Would NEVER recommend this place. Had a horrible experience, especially being a single woman. Appear to treat women very poorly. Owner yelled and talk Would NEVER recommend this place. Had a horrible experience, especially being a single woman. Appear to treat women very poorly. Owner yelled and talked down to me after the traumatic experience I had with my car. Worst customer service imaginable. Seem to handle themselves in a very dishonest manner and appear to only care about money, not safety. Didn't even make it out of the dealership parking lot. Almost killed myself. My car suddenly had no brakes. The breaks were not an issue when I dropped the car off. They said it was a coincidence. They said it was indeed very unusual. To fix the problem would cost over $2000. They would give me a great deal by charging only $1000. That isn't including what I already paid. ( Before the breaks went, I already paid for the problem I came in with and they had said my car was fixed and good to go.) So my car is unsafe to drive and now I am out of the money I paid them. The dealership said they only guarantee the work they were asked to do and it is "not their problem". Too bad I couldn't tell if they did good work because my car is no longer drivable. I couldn't even drive it off of their lot. Good thing I still am alive though. At least we (the dealership and I) can both agree on this. Not worth your life. Spend the time and find a place that provides safe and reliable service you can trust. TRUST is the key word. They most likely knew my car was not worth fixing and had major issues, regardless fixed one issue and said it was good to go. [ I made sure to tow my car to another mechanic shop to get a second opinion after all this.] Learn from the majority of reviews written here. Poor service -- from the service coordinator, general manager, owner and the mechanics. Keep up the great team work Agincourt Hyundai! All work together to maintain the dismal 2.9 rating you receive on this website, and more importantly, the rating you justly deserve. Won't be recommending you to friends, family and acquaintances. And I am sure all of the people I know who currently go to you for servicing will now be going to other dealerships. Personally, by far the worst and scariest experience ever. More
terrible service, poor manner I traded a 2008 Elantra with a 2014 Tucson, when picking up the new Tucson, there were some stone chips, appointment arranged for a touching up free. H I traded a 2008 Elantra with a 2014 Tucson, when picking up the new Tucson, there were some stone chips, appointment arranged for a touching up free. However on the scheduled day, the service was declined because the paint expert was on vacation, the co- ordinator Sujee had v poor manner. The wheel of the sunroof of the new Tucson was accidentally broken, the sunroof kept open, I sent it in for service, they said that it could be done by the end of the day, however I got the answer that they were placing an order for that parts from Korea, no definate available date. The co-ordinator gave me plastic sheet to cover the roof, but it could be fipped off by wind when driving, which endangering the traffic. The service manager acceped to keep my car indoore while waiting for the parts. After big struggle with the GM Nick, he promised to provide me with a loaner vehicle within 3 days. Today is the 4th, he made no reply though I gave him serveral call. More
