not happy with my experience I recently purchased a used truck from Advantage Ford in Calgary, I live 12 hours away and did most of my dealings over the phone. when I decided on t I recently purchased a used truck from Advantage Ford in Calgary, I live 12 hours away and did most of my dealings over the phone. when I decided on the truck I wanted I told them I would make the 12 hour drive South to pick it up. When I arrived at the dealership and looked the truck over there was a dent on the passenger side box with very deep scratches, a dent on the driver side door, and a 2" in diameter hole in the box of the truck, all of which he failed to tell me over the phone before I made the 12 hour drive. Then it was time to take it for a drive, when I got in the truck the smell of cigarette smoke hit me in the face, this was a heavily smoked in vehicle which they also failed to tell me over the phone before I made the drive down, in my opinion, that is a big deal. I took care of most of the financing stuff over the phone and felt pressured into buying this truck even though I knew I didn't really want it. I get the truck home and my wife can't stand the smell, she won't even get in the truck let alone put our 17 month old sons in it, left over smoke residue can be very harmful for small kids with allergies. They did a very poor job at cleaning it also, a truck that was smoked in should of been sent out to professionals to be shampooed, the whole nine yards but they didn't even wipe down the seats, I found stains on the back leather seats that were very easy to wipe off which told me it wasn't cleaned very good at all. I'm going to do my best to get the smoke smell out of this truck, I'm going to start by scrubbing every inch of the interior and if that don't work I guess I'm stuck with a very expensive lawn ornament. Thanks Advantage Ford! When a guy is driving from that far away it should be your job to tell them every little detail about the vehicle so there is no surprises when you get there but you dropped on that one. This experience put a bad taste in mouth towards Ford. More

Bad service bad service manager So today I had an appointment with Advantage Ford here in calgary, this service was for a 38000 klm oil change and service. Also to change the tires f So today I had an appointment with Advantage Ford here in calgary, this service was for a 38000 klm oil change and service. Also to change the tires from summer to winter.. Note that the winter tires are on rims.. I brought my truck in at 7:45 am for a 9:00 am appointment, needless to say I called at 4:15 pm to see if my truck was ready. I was then informed that it was not in yet and was also informed that they would not even ensure me that it would be done.. So needless to say my 21 year relationship with Advantage Ford in Calgary is done.. Also note that the service manager, that was still there and was told about the problem, did not even have the professionalism to come out and talk to me.. I tryed over the years to have some loyaty towards Advantage ford but I see now that I just wasted my time... More

Worst service dept and management in the city Hands down the worst service I have ever had. Truck has been in 3 times and things that were working fine are now broken. Was charged for things that didn't need to be done. Charged for things I didn't agree to. However, the worst part is the truck is now not drivable even though it was perfectly fine when it was dropped off. For weeks I have called and emailed the managers and they refuse to call me back or even email. How embarrassing...I feel bad for the sales team as the management or lack of management is surely costing them customers. My wife and I are both looking at getting new trucks this fall. Advantage has now officially lost our business and if I can help it the business of all out friends and family. More
