Last week, I had the good luck to get to both buy a new car from Advantage, and attend the Women in the Driver's Seat event for Smarty Skirts YYC, all Last week, I had the good luck to get to both buy a new car from Advantage, and attend the Women in the Driver's Seat event for Smarty Skirts YYC, all on the same day! Shane Robb took the time to find out what I was really looking for in a new vehicle, and helped me to understand the different options available and what they would really mean for me. His attention to detail (like remembering my colour preferences), and honest advice was really appreciated as this was the first time I'd ever gone through the process of buying a new car on my own. Marc Stokes in the Finance department was friendly, helpful, and communicative through the entire process of getting my lease ready, as well as helping me choose which additional protection options I wanted (3M, fabric and leather protection!), and explaining the benefits of buying the Ford Maintenance Protection plan. He went out of his way to ensure I had all the information I'd need to give to my insurance agent, as well. Greg Kozokowsky was also friendly and helpful when I picked up my new vehicle. From explaining the new features to helping me deal with last minute complications with the car I was trading in, he was informative, patient and had a good sense of humour when things didn't go exactly as planned. I love my new Explorer! Later that same day, I returned for the Women in the Driver's Seat event for Smarty Skirts YYC, and it was awesome! Thank you so much to everyone at Advantage Ford who took part! The evening was educational, fun, and really helped our attendees see how the entire car buying and ownership process really works. The transparency and openness really helped to dispel a lot of common car buying myths, as well as empower the women who attended to be knowledgeable and active participants in their car purchasing ventures in the future.
