I bought the extended warranty to ensure that I wouldn't face any issues when it comes to maintenance. As a client, I had to contact Nissan Canada and inform them about the issue. Nissan Canada confirmed that my warranty is active, but the service manager insisted that he had confirmed with their warranty department that it had expired. After several calls with Nissan Canada, totaling three hours of conversation and answering multiple questions, they spoke with the manager. He called me to apologize for mixing up the months and days. I asked the manager if they could at least cover the cost of the diagnostic for the time they had inconvenienced me, but he refused.
