I alternate my service on my Hybrid 2023 RAV4 XSE, which is my third Toyota since 2005, between Maita and Modesto Toyota. I reside in Murphys, so it's important that when I bring my Toyota into service, the is my third Toyota since 2005, between Maita and Modesto Toyota. I reside in Murphys, so it's important that when I bring my Toyota into service, the job is done right the first time because of the distances I drive. I coordinate medical, car service, shopping and other appointments in these two 'big cities' so I accomplish as much as possible on these day trips. I am happy to say that since discovering Maita and bringing my car in for service twice, so far, across the board, all aspect of servicing my vehicle at Maita Toyota of Sacramento have been great experiences. Even if I am quoted 90-minutes on a 5K mile service and it takes a bit over two hours, I would rather they do the job right the first time, instead of rushing it and cutting corners. For 20-years I have used Toyota service exclusively on my two Prius and now my RAV4, at Toyota dealerships in Fort Myers, Florida, Dallas, Texas, San Rafael, Modesto, San Francisco and Sacramento, and I am happy to report Toyota service is consistent no matter where I go. Come game day today, she was especially helpful. She definitely made my day when she informed us that not only did she want to buy our Avalon Hybrid, her $$$ offering was well within our limit. I yelled out "SOLD"!!! LOL, LOL. Seriously, we really appreciate how your team members made us feel like family including Brett in Finance and Norbert over in Service. You already know that we will continue to come see you guys every 6 months for both Diane's new Highlander Hybrid Platinum and my Prius V's service needs. I purchased a new vehicle with Maita Toyota several years ago, and all services were routinely performed at their service center. Maita failed to identify a major issue with my vehicle while it was under war ago, and all services were routinely performed at their service center. Maita failed to identify a major issue with my vehicle while it was under warranty. The major issue was something that takes a long time to develop, but is easy to identify. Coincidentally, the issue was identified IMMEDIATELY after the warranty expired. Maita then preceded to try to sell me over $1.2k in services to fix the issue. When I questioned Maita why they didn’t catch the issue sooner, they accused me of “driving recklessly,” as the primary cause. However, after a complete alignment inspection, the accusation was debunked, and they admitted they were incorrect. Nevertheless, I was still on the hook to fix the issue, even though Maita admitted that they could not explain the cause of the issue. The worst part about the experience was their transparency. Both service managers assured me they would follow up with me, but after eight (8) left messages and two (2) unannounced drop by’s to the service center (both visits I was informed they were on the property but were ‘unavailable.’) over a month long period, I still did not receive a response. Finally, when I filed a complaint with Toyota Corporate, I unsurprisingly received a call back. I purchased one (1) vehicle with Maita, and planned to buy my next vehicle prior to the end of 2024 with them. I’ve also had all my vehicles serviced with them since 2013. I will never return to that dealership, as they have completely lost my trust. More
