My wife and I were in the market to purchase two new trucks and after having had a poor experience with another dealership we decided to call Don Whea My wife and I were in the market to purchase two new trucks and after having had a poor experience with another dealership we decided to call Don Wheaton Chev, we had no prior dealings nor did we know any of the sales reps at Don Wheaton. Mike Caputo was the salesman who took our call, we explained our situation and what we were looking for in our new purchases. At first we were looking for a new 1/2 ton and a used Dmax dually, Mike worked hard for us without trying to talk us into something we didn't want. There were a few things that my wife and I truly appreciated about Mike. 1) Mike offered us purchase options that worked. 2) our trade ins were handled with respect, they didnt come to the table with B.S. lowball offers. 3) we were treated with respect The entire purchase moved very quick and smooth. When we arrived at the dealership to finalize our deal, Mike was there waiting to greet me. I didn't have to go looking for my salesman !! Overall this has been the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a dealership! Tim Florek handled our financing and was absolutely outstanding, Tim knew exactly what we needed and wasn't pushy about up selling all the typical extras..Thanks Tim ! He was quick to let me know what was available and what was coming in. I went for a test drive with him and was very impressed with his product knowledge regarding the Envision. Fred was able to locate the Envision I wanted, in addition to getting the only cargo shade in Canada, and ordered all the extra pieces for the interior protection package. I met with Nick, a very professional man, and one who met every challenge I put forth to him! In short he has a fantastic team and I would recommend anyone interested in a GM product to go see them on Whyte. Tim in finance made me feel welcome, and he's pleasant. Accepting price and terms can be a harrowing experience, but not with him. It took 10 minutes, he's quick efficient and makes light of the meeting with his soft humor. Thank you for your help! More

The weather did not cooperate and I was delayed in getting into dealership to complete transaction. Shawn was patient with the situation. As it was a unique car I believe more leeway was granted to complete the sale. Once I finally got to Don Wheaton the experience was professional and thorough. Negotiations had been completed online, so after a check of my trade in and an offsite inspection of my purchase was permitted, the paper work was quick and complete. Tim the finance guy was no-nonsence, sign here, initial here and out the door type of guy which works for me although he was a Dallas Cowboys fan. I appreciate Peter extending the exchange period as the car will not be driven until the snow disappears and filling the cars gas tank and the tow vehicles tank. Most of all it was Shawn's patience of the situation that gave me a good feel for the dealership and how it operates. We talked about the long history of Don Wheaton and its positive impact on the community. I would recommend you give them a try when you are looking for your next vehicle and try to get Shawn as your sales guy. More
