My second purchase in 3 months from this dealership. My sales person Tammy is absolutely in rhythm with her cars, fluid in knowledge of the vehicles. They negotiated the price simply and without hassling. I got the car I wanted. I purchased with cash, so thought finalizing the deal would go seamlessly but it took longer than I expected to sign every I got the car I wanted. My salesperson was very helpful. I supposedly had an appointment but waited 20 minutes after checking in at reception and no one was assigned to me. After questioning them it was ano I supposedly had an appointment but waited 20 minutes after checking in at reception and no one was assigned to me. After questioning them it was another 20 minutes before anyone was assigned to me, not the salesperson’s fault. In general though there was a lack of urgency at the dealership to move things along. This is a mixed review. I would give our overall experience with the dealership two stars; this was the 9th BMW we have purchased from Herb Chambers, both in Boston and more I would give our overall experience with the dealership two stars; this was the 9th BMW we have purchased from Herb Chambers, both in Boston and more recently in Sudbury, and this was the first time that we have had a negative experience. Although we had a confirmed sales appointment for 2:15, we did not begin to speak with a salesperson for almost an hour. Once the sale itself had been decided, we spent almost another two hours waiting, and then speaking, with the finance person. Overall, to spend almost five hours, most of it just waiting around, to buy an expensive car seems unfortunate to say the least. We were told that it was a busy day, etc., but one would expect them to know that in advance and staff accordingly. We could have flown to London in the time we sat in Sudbury. On a more positive note, both the sales person and the finance person were engaging, well-informed, and easy to work with. I would give each of them 5 stars. More
