I had gotten involved in trading, thinking I was making smart decisions, but it quickly spiraled out of control. To make matters worse, I fell victim to a series of scams, losing over $70,000 in total. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, I received a call from someone who promised to help me recover my losses. Desperate to fix the situation, I went along with it, hoping for a breakthrough. But it turned out to be another scam. This left me feeling completely defeated. I was struggling with the weight of my financial ruin, trying to stay positive for my wife and the baby on the way. I had an appt booked with Lokesh to start off with my dealings with Capital Chev. When I arrived he was out on a test drive with another client. The receptionist tried calling him, another salesman tried dealings with Capital Chev. When I arrived he was out on a test drive with another client. A salesman walked around trying to find someone else for about 10mins. Finally he noticed Lynette had just walked into her office with her lunch. She was very accommodating and put her lunch aside and got right into the email thread between Lokesh and I. She immediately got my car in for appraisal and I thought wow she’s great for only being there for 2 months. I said I was looking to see numbers that day as my first preference of color was still in the USA. Within about 45mins to an hour my appraisal was done and they showed me the same specific the vehicle I wanted but in different color (second choice). I met the sales manager and he asked if I wanted to move forward. I again said I wanted to see numbers and he presented three different options and approx numbers. Lynette took me outside to see the vehicle and we took it around the block. When we got back into the dealership I met with finance, because again I wanted specific numbers. She was going ahead with alot of forms and I asked her what the number was as that is what I was looking for. She then said I was told you were buying this vehicle today. I said no, that I wanted to see numbers and she asked if they didn’t show me numbers. I said I was shown 3 different ranges of numbers. And I wanted something to compare with another dealership. She then was visibly surprised/annoyed. She tried calling Lynette who was not answering as she had gone to put gas in the vehicle. The finance person then was walking around trying to find Lynette and or sales manager…I waited around and say her tell the sales manager something in his office which was obviously not taken well. He came out and asked me if there was a misunderstanding and I said most definitely as I wanted to talk to another dealership and think about the numbers. He was not very receptive of this information. From that I left the dealership. I received numerous phone calls back and forth from Lynette. Understandably because she wanted the sale. 2 weeks went by, I talked to the other dealership and I finally gave Lynette my final number and until we got there there was no need for the messages. Surprised but within an hour they had the number that would work with my needs. From there I never heard anything from them until the day before I was to pick up my vehicle. Lynette had asked if I would make a claim with my insurance to replace the windshield before bringing it in and they would pay the deductible. This was something I was shocked to hear as a request as nothing was said prior. And I don’t have a lot of time to do this prior to the pickup. I asked questions about it but never did hear back from her. I received a call from finance to set up an appt to pick up the vehicle. When I got there I waited 25mins to see the finance person. She was on a personal call, again my time wasn’t respected, the same as the first appointment with Lokesh. I felt pressure and “are you sure” when dealing with finance. I understand the warranty and such. I am ok with my personal decisions. Lynette was not in for the delivery of the vehicle due to personal reasons. So Lokesh delivered the vehicle to me. While dealing with Lokesh he asked that I give him the good review and not Lynette so he could receive the commission. I already had a bad taste in my mouth about the dealership and the pressure and lack of respect for time and then to hear the fact he was trying to undermind Lynette, I was literally ready to be done! I started to receive text messages regarding other peoples appts at the dealership, which was annoying and I didn’t even know what was happening.
