Average nothing special Struggle to get vehicle in stock on time, over all the experience was ok but nothing fantastic. If I were to go with Chevy again I would probably try another dealership. After I committed to the deal I was offered a lower price for the same car at another dealership, Lakewood wouldn't match the price as I had already accepted the offer but not signed any paper work for financing or received the vehicle yet. Not impressed with that but the sales men was great to deal with. More

holy ##xx i bought a new truck! I guess i could sum up my whole experience like this: ive dealt with lakewood since the early 90's parts and service are good. Last new car i bought t I guess i could sum up my whole experience like this: ive dealt with lakewood since the early 90's parts and service are good. Last new car i bought there was in 2002. I started dealing with sean simon on a new truck after he cold called me a few months ago. I was shocked at how much new trucks cost and it pretty well took me a month to get over that. We kept going back and forth building a new truck that was close to what i wanted, at a price that i could afford. I settled on the truck you see in the picture, and just to make sure i was getting a good deal i checked with 4 other dealers to compare. Out of that group only lakewood and 2 other dealers wanted to earn my business, but only lakewood worked out the best price and features that suited me best. I didnt choose the lowest price because i want good service and im willing to pay a little more to get it. The truck was ordered, built and came exactly as i wanted it to be several weeks later. I was hoping for more hp from the gas engine but settled for what is available for the price. The deal we struck was fair to both sides, there was no changes on their part and the whole process was done within a few hours of me showing up. Most of the delivery was spent on showing me new truck features. Im still lost but its so comfy . I would like to thank sean simon, danny bass, manita bains, kyle in parts and james logozar in service, as well as everyone else at the dealership whos names i dont know, i feel that i got a good deal, good value for my hard earned money and a beautiful new chev 3500 truck. Im completely satisfied, and if you buy from lakewood you will be too. Sincerely dan kostic. More

A great vehicle that came with an enormous disservice. I'm leaving my original review here intact. The situation was fully corrected. I'd buy another vehicle here, if they had one I wanted, but I wouldn't I'm leaving my original review here intact. The situation was fully corrected. I'd buy another vehicle here, if they had one I wanted, but I wouldn't start my searc here. I flew to Edmonton from Montana to purchase exactly the vehicle I wanted, and got a fantastic deal. Unfortunately, the entire process was fraught with problems. The sales process happened over about two weeks online. Linda was super responsive, and basically did everything that needed to happen for me to buy the vehicle. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, I requested the VIN to insure the vehicle, and complete my financing. It took 5, of the 5 business days I had allotted to even get the VIN. I had purchased a plane ticket for Saturday morning, and got the VIN Friday morning. My bank was able to push through my financing paperwork in 1/4 of their normal time frame, but in the rush, I ended up with more than the purchase price of the vehicle after currency conversion. The bank had already closed by the time I realized I couldn't correct the cashiers checks. Talking to the finance manager once I finally got to Edmonton, she said they would refund the deposit I paid over the phone with a credit card, and send me a check for the balance. They had also offered to pay for half of my plane ticket. That never happened, and in my experience is usually just pressing buttons on a credit card machine for the deposit. I still haven't received any checks in the mail for the over payment, or the plane ticket. It's been three weeks. I've sent multiple emails, and received to response. Currently I'm out around $2400 Canadian, and can't get a response. It gets worse, so please, bear with me. I got home, and tried to register the vehicle with the DMV, and found out I need a bill of sale. I presented the purchase paper work, and they explained it was a purchase order, not a bill of sale. Well what's the difference? Alberta has a standardized bill of sale, available online, which was not filled out at the time of purchase and must be notarized. The state of Montana would also accept the previous registration. So I was emailed a copy of the registration, but not the back, where it's supposed to be signed. The state of Montana needs the original, not a copy. I sent an email requesting that, and haven't heard back. In a couple weeks, my temporary registration will expire, and I won't be able to drive my new vehicle. I can't to my job without a truck to drive, and will be unemployed, with a massive vehicle loan to pay off, that I can't even get a title for to sell it. This dealership is about to financially ruin me, in every sense of the word. I'm really at a loss, and basically completely sick right now. Update: About 10 minutes after posting this I got a call from the general manager, who has taken up my situation personally. He's shipping me a check and the paperwork I need today. Will update on delivery. Update: so the general manager overnighted me all the paperwork, and the check I was owed. He apologized profusely, and I was able to register my truck. Turns out that the person who was supposed to be handling the situation went on holiday, and the ball was dropped on covering her. Unfortunate, but has been know to happen. More
