Was quoted $33,535 for a 2021 CX5 Carbon. Have quote in both a text and email. When I arrived at the dealer the price was $38,995. This price included a charge of $2,995 for "market adjustment". I was info both a text and email. When I arrived at the dealer the price was $38,995. This price included a charge of $2,995 for "market adjustment". I was informed by Dave my salesperson that this charge is due to a vehicle shortage. I expect these tactics from subprime dealers not a "reputable" dealership. I let Dave know I was no longer interested in the vehicle and headed in the direction of my vehicle. Dave asked if I could talk to his manager. I agreed but had to take a call first. When I entered the buding when my call was finished I was met by Dave holding a clipboard and asking me questions about financing. I wanted to speak to the manager about his less than ideal business practices not apply for financing. (For what its worth I was paying cash for the vehicle)I left the dealers location. I was called by Lea who left a message. I called her back and we discussed the over $5000 in "addendums". I was told that she never quoted a price. When reminded that she did she stated "that is the list price prior to any addendums". I had previously told Lea that I was driving over 60 miles from Vineland to look at the vehicle. Thankfully I happened to be working in the Lakewood area wo did not have to travel far. In one of my text messages I asked for the total price of the car and was told "the internet price is $33,535". Be careful when looking into vehicles at this dealership. The price you are quoted will not be the price of the vehicle. More
