bought a 2011 Kia soul last Tuesday. On Friday I got a phone call saying there was a “glitch” with the keys and they had to take it to a Kia dealership to fix it. So, eventually, after much back and forth I got my car on Wednesday. Now, I have to say that, due to their screw up with the keys, they did provide me with a loaner car so up until this point in the transaction, I would give them a 4 star review. However when the car was delivered it only came with 2 keys (the sale included 3 when I bought it), there was barely any gas in the tank - maybe I’m being petty but when I pay dealership prices I expect a full tank of gas. Also, I did not receive a carfax (the salesman reviewed it with me at the dealership) nor was there any documentation from the shop about fixing the brakes, the key debacle - I would have expected a report from Kia too - or any other work done on it - or required on it. Their website says that they do free delivery for all of the island and, while they did deliver the car, they did make several requests for me to drive down to Duncan (I’m in Parksville) to pick it up. I phoned the manager (Kyle) to express my concerns and he dismissed me and offered to “fill your tank the next time you’re in Duncan”. I replied that I only go to Duncan about once every 2 or 3 years so….. He apologized for the loss of the key and gave no offer of renumeration for it - these keys are approximately $300 to replace so I’m more than annoyed and feel screwed over by Island Ford. More

Ordering a Bronco at Island Ford has been such an exciting experience. Oliver Dash, our sales Associate, walked us through the whole factory ordering process. Went out of their way to accommodate my older truck trades, and put me in a vehicle that met my requirements Disappointed with the dealership's add on accessories , ( ie- wheel mud flaps, poor f trades, and put me in a vehicle that met my requirements Disappointed with the dealership's add on accessories , ( ie- wheel mud flaps, poor fit - window wind deflectors not wanted -negotiated (tonneau ) truck bed cover was a low end product initially. I feel that over paid for the better second cover that should have been part of the original deal. Small stuff but takes away from the overall enjoyment of buying first new truck in 17 years More

Island Ford is a beautiful state-of-the-art dealership in an easy-to-access location right off the highway. Worst car experience ever. My salesman, Amado, would ignore all my texts for weeks until I call the store and he would pick up. The sales manager, Kyle martin, wouldn't return my call until 2 weeks later. I was fed up with these people so I had to fight for my deposit back. Cars are also marked up 10-15k above msrp. I was able to find a ford maverick at a closer location for 10k cheaper than what I had a deposit on. More
