My partner and I went in on 2/9/2024 to buy a car from this dealership. The employee salesperson helping us out was Jowaine. Before we went for a test drive Jowaine agreed to let us pay all cash $23,000 and high-fived to seal the deal. Two witnesses also heard this deal. Once we went inside to pay, he ended up coming back with a price thousands of dollars higher than the agreed $23,000. When we questioned this new number, he denied that he EVER said the price of $23,000 and went on to make us feel stupid. After a while of arguing I told him I was upset that he was saying this lie and that he keeps changing the subject and he looks at me and tells me that "I don't look upset". Extremely disrespectful. After 15 minutes of arguing and us reexplaining the deal that had been made less than 20 minutes before sitting down, he finally says, regarding the deal, "I said that, just to say it". If this isn't the definition of shiesty I don't know what is.We called the manager later to tell her/him of this and nothing was done. The manager even said that they have received calls about this particular dealer (Jowaine) before with similar instances. I would not recommend this salesperson or dealership to anyone.

Granier, I do again apologize about the miscommunication with Jowaine. From our conversation last night Jowaine thought you were on the original used Camry you inquired on which was the LE model. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication when you came back inside on which used car you wanted and the SE model you switched to was a few thousand dollars more. I appreciate you taking my call and giving me the opportunity to explain. Jowaine's miscommunication was our fault and I agree it was not handled the proper way. Jowaine's language barrier is something that he does deal with and he's working on that. I know we spoke yesterday when you reached out to see if the car was still available to purchase and I did let you know it was sold. I asked if it was okay to keep looking for similar Camry SE models in the same price range, if you would still like my assistance in any way please let me know.
