This dealership has demonstrated a troubling level of negligence and disregard for customer safety. It is only a matter of time before these business practices result in someone being seriously injured. negligence and disregard for customer safety. It is only a matter of time before these business practices result in someone being seriously injured. I live in Alberta, and this dealership sold and shipped me a 2021 GR Supra that was missing several critical safety features, including functioning running lights, front signal lights, and a horn. The vehicle also had a loose battery terminal that could have created a serious fire hazard. In addition, the car arrived with significant undisclosed interior damage. None of these issues were disclosed to me before the sale. After these defects were discovered, General Manager Jamie and Sales Manager Leef Peek avoided calls and delayed any meaningful resolution while the Vehicle Sales Authority (VSA) investigation was ongoing. Rather than taking responsibility for the situation, Jamie made the following statement after failing to honor a call he had scheduled with me: "I think you don't understand. I owe you less than you think, and any repairs I do are out of the goodness of my heart." This response was particularly concerning given that the vehicle was sold as roadworthy despite the absence of essential safety equipment. Throughout this process, I was left with a vehicle that could not be legally registered or pass inspection, while continuing to deal with the financial and personal consequences of the dealership's actions. It ultimately took the conclusion of the VSA's investigation before any meaningful resolution was achieved. Customers should be able to trust that a dealership will accurately represent the condition of the vehicles it sells and promptly address serious safety concerns when they arise. In this case, that trust was completely broken. More
