As a previous writer mentioned about Suburban (same owner) they felt like a number this is so true. Island Ford made me feel like a customer and they thanked me for coming and doing business with them. I purchased Ford's Maintenance Plan therefore 'had' to have service done at a Ford Dealer. I did a dealer search and Island Ford stood out amongst the dealers within a reasonable drive from Victoria. Spoke with Chad, Service Manager, and followed up with emails. He ensured what I needed / requested was ordered and in stock before my appointment. Easy drive to/from Duncan and the quality of service and exemplary customer service was well worth the drive. While in their waiting room it was impossible not to overhear other customers either dropping off or picking up their vehicle. Each was treated with the same warm, friendly and caring customer service. Will I go to Victoria again! NEVER; I would HIGHLY recommend any Ford / vehicle owner to make the drive to Island Ford, great coffee as well. This was my first visit and I rarely give an excellent rating however there was nothing I could knock them on, Chad and staff deserve the 5*'s across the board. More

Over three separate services I felt like I was just a number in the system and had one particularly disappointing experience. We then decided to try another dealership and have to say that Island Ford is completely different and BETTER! I actually feel like my business there is appreciated and have nothing but good things to say about Sue and Deanna. Thanks, Doug More

Uncommon requests Picked up a new Focus and wanted to make some changes to the chimes etc... Ford customer service was sadly typical of call centre type responses. I phoned Chad and went over it with him and he said "...bring the car in and I'm sure we can do something". I took the car in and he was true to his word. I continually say I don't like cars, as such, and that hasn't changed but I know good service when I see it and these guys are excellent. Susie and Deanna are always upbeat and friendly but on this occasion Chad and Bruce were more than a step beyond the norm. Problem solved! These guys are worth the trip up from Victoria... I haven't gone to any of the Ford dealers in the Victoria area for even a light bulb in years. As someone who believes when it isn't broke don't fix it.... I think it also applies that when it works stay with it and don't mess it up. Such is the value of a good relationship with Island Ford. Give them a try, they are worth the drive. More

He is, hands down, the most genuine person you could buy a vehicle from. Over the years, we have purchased at least 10 vehicles. I have also dealt with many of the friendly, curtious staff. Sue and Deanna in service are always great to deal with. I can always depend on Rick for the correct parts. And Edie, will go the extra mile for your financing needs. I had been talking to Dave Faithfull for years and was assured he would be able to find me the truck I wanted. I settled on a Ford Ranger in January 2006 and have been very happy with it. Penny was deserving of a new vehicle so in July 2006, we bought a Ford Focus from Dave. She has been very pleased with her car as well. More
