Our Volt was taken to Currie Motors due to an issue with the high voltage battery that was covered under the Voltec warranty. Vehicle was picked up and driven home to sit for 2 days until it was driven on a the high voltage battery that was covered under the Voltec warranty. Vehicle was picked up and driven home to sit for 2 days until it was driven on a Saturday to an event. Upon leaving the event the car completely died in the middle of an intersection that was 40 miles from home---and when I mean "died" I mean that the car shut down. No gas engine, no electric, no power steering, no HVAC---NOTHING. Error messages were "Shift to Park" and "Not Able to Charge" I called Currie motors and spoke to the General Manager and to someone from service who both suggested that I have the vehicle towed at my expense back to them. Yes, that's right. I should pay for a tow truck after they had this vehicle in for repairs. By the way---the General Manager questioned if I bought the car from them or not. Why? I didn't leave near when the car was purchased. I now live locally and thought I could trust the local dealer instead of traveling 30-40 miles in order for service problems. Guess I was wrong. This car has driven 46,000 miles without issue and as soon as these guys tear apart the electrical system the car became bricked. GM's roadside assistance took the car (after waiting for 3 hours in the cold) instead to a dealership that was "closest" which was in Bolingbrook (thank you Advantage Chevy) and I still had to Uber back home on my dime as no rental car agencies were open. I ended up having to take time off from work on that Monday in order to get the car squared away at the other Chevy dealer and to get a rental lined up as we have a 2 vehicle requirement in the household. I do finally have the car back after the diagnosis and repair from Advantage Chevy---Currie Chevy DID NOT repair the vehicle correctly by balancing the voltage on the battery packs causing the entire car to shut down in the middle of a road. So no, Mr. Service Manager the problem wasn't with the shifter assembly as you attempted to tell me otherwise. You're free to call Advantage Chevy if you'd like, or I'll bring the paperwork to you to see YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE. I seriously question on how Chevy is going to go "all electric" when dealerships, like this one, can't repair vehicles correctly. I spent 3 hours on my day off waiting for a tow truck (and missed a birthday party), took a day off of work in order to get this car squared away for repairs. Who's paying for my time missed from work? Who's paying for my mileage, tolls and fuel in order to get to Bolingbrook to retrieve this car? Complaint filed with General Motors as the problem that they caused to my car could have caused serious injury or even death if we would have been traveling down the highway. I DO NOT enjoy pushing a vehicle out of a busy road! So if you need your vehicle serviced---take it to Advantage Chevy in Bolingbrook or anywhere else. Now we found out that Currie Chevy failed to return the rental car to Enterprise. $340 in charges on our credit card due to them sending the car back 4 days later. 4 days!!! Still no response from Currie and they’re telling General Motors that we kept the rental for 4 extra days. 4 extra days and suddenly the rental was turned back in by Currie. Guarantee that if you look at security footage that the car was parked right outside. More

Brought into the dealer they tell me they hurd what the noise was then later the mechanic tells the supervisor he hurd no sound. They then said it was the heat Shield then still made noise after I left the lot. Brought it back said nothing is wrong. Terrible service terrible sales people especially Sergio do not recommend him as all he cares about is making a sale. Then the dealership tells me the exhaust pipe had a problem after my wife called better business b on them. I'll never step foot in there again do NOT go there unless you want a faulty vehicle. More

Mike sinacola was awesome from the moment I pulled up. He made sure I didn’t leave until I got the vehicle I wanted. Anthony manno and Leighton Clemons from management also made sure they did everything made sure I didn’t leave until I got the vehicle I wanted. Great service always hooks me in I work in hospitality, so service is important to me. I accompanied a friend to this dealership who was interested in buying, but I was curious to fin I work in hospitality, so service is important to me. I accompanied a friend to this dealership who was interested in buying, but I was curious to find out more about certain cars. Joey was extremely professional and friendly. I was very impressed at how the salesman Dred and the manager Joey B treated me. My car was in service getting an oil change. This was my first time bringing my car here for service. I went wandering wh manager Joey B treated me. My car was in service getting an oil change. This was my first time bringing my car here for service. I went wandering while I waited and I was greeted by Dred. I was expecting some weird tactics to try and pressure me. It was just the opposite. I was so thankful for the thorough test drive, the explanations of all the features, and the general gentle approach to helping me make a good decision by finding what fits my needs and budget. Service department nailed it ! Rebecca and her staff were efficient and professional in there approach to everything. Great Job Currie More

Don't trust them I had my vehicle serviced by Currie Motors earlier this year due to some knocking on the driver side front end and my steering or the alignment was of I had my vehicle serviced by Currie Motors earlier this year due to some knocking on the driver side front end and my steering or the alignment was off. I was first told that it was my tie rods, once I told them that I had just had inner and outer tie rods replaced that quickly went for another diagnosis. I was told that I needed to replace my gear box because it was leaking. I explained to Daniel the service manager and the mechanic that my car is garage kept and that there were not markings of a leak left on the freshly poured cement in the garage, but now I have a leak. Next I was told after several people looked at my car that I needed lever arms. Reluctantly I agreed and allowed them to fix it at a cost of $1,800, they said they replaced everything and did a wheel alignment. I drove my vehicle for two months and the exact same sound came back. I contacted Daniel and explained to him the situation and made an appointment to come in. due to being in and out of town I was not able to bring my vehicle back in until I was back in town. I took my vehicle back to Currie and after the check was told it was something completely different then what was fixed. This time I was told the noise is happening because I need to replace my control arms. I asked how two completely separate things could make the exact same noise when doing the exact same action from the first repair. They have tried this before trying to get me to fix something that they had fixed before. When I expressed my concern I was told “we can see what we can do about the price. I now am down $1,800 and my vehicle is still not working properly. This type of deceptive practice is shameful to say the least. I would not recommend Currie to anyone and I will make it a point to get the word out to ensure no one I know does business with this company. More

Fantastic company I have been buying cars for over 50 years and this is one of the FEW i feel very comfortable dealing with. Fair and honest from service to sales.....
