After 24 hours of negotiation and having run my credit, they told me that the price of the car increased by 3000 USD 🤷🏻♂️. If I could give negative starts to this dealership I would. If you want to be treated like a little lady who knows nothing and just needs to fall in line like a good woman should because the men know s would. The team in used car sales could not be more insulting or like a good old boys club if they tried. RUN from this used car department. I inquired about a car online back in August 2024 for my son and was going to buy it sight unseen so I needed specific information and asked that they be my eyes on this car. I was working with Townsend who is their online used car sales manager. He was so patronizing and everytime I asked him for information about the car like what the actual tire tread was and what the brake pads were at he told me that they are fine and they do not sell cars with less than a certain amount of tread or wear or tear. I had to ask 3 times before he would actually get me the measurements I wanted. Then when he finally gave me the measurements he said the tires were at 16/32nds which does not exist in a tire tread measurement and when I told him that was not correct he argued with me because you know I am a stupid woman who should not question. I should have stopped right there but stupidly I continued with the dealership. Then when I came to pick up the car I got to deal with Jakeob one of the sales manager. I was asking questions about some of the functions of the car that did not seem to be working and he could not answer my questions and he told me that he could just refund me if I wanted after I had traveled 4 hours to pick up the car. In essence, he and Townsend knew nothing about the car and just wanted the sale. Luckily, Ted who was another manager came out and was able to answer my questions. Ted was the only bright spot in the whole experience. So I drove off with the car on 8/24/24. My husband and son took off to drive to his college in Maine on 8/29/24. On 9/2/24 the car caught fire 30 min from my son's school on the highway. That was ONE week after we bought the car. When I called to let them know I was put in touch with Kurt who is one of the head honchos in the used car department. In speaking to him I was upset because my son and husband could have died and asked them what they intended to do and his response was, "I have been doing this for 30 years and I was under that car and everything was fine and you bought it as is so....". When I pushed back he then said, "if you don't address me appropriately I will not be so inclined to help you." Because I am a woman who should never address a man in what he views as inappropriate. I can assure you I was not hysterical but was pushing back against his logic and his "you bought it as is". I guarantee you if I was a man he would have never made that comment. He just wanted to "put me in my place". Keep in mind, we literally had the car one week! In contrast, the dealership (Rowe Hyundai) the car was towed to in Maine could not have been more helpful and accommodating and made a very scary situation tolerable. They were as wonderful as Arapahoe Kia was horrible. I received one more phone call from Kurt saying he would get back to me with information and then never did. I even spoke to the general manager of the whole dealership, Courtney, and while sympathetic in the initial conversation he never called me back either. I called both of them back giving them updates. I would have thought that they would have been all over it checking in asking what they could do because my son and husband could have been really hurt with the car catching on fire that they sold me but not a peep. TERRIBLE used car department with good old boys who treat women like they know nothing and need to be put in line. They could have used this opportunity to shine but all they wanted to do was cover their xxx in the worst way possible. More

I’m disappointed that it costs $230 to find out that my daughter left her earring in the parking brake area.
