To the woman who threatened to repo my best friends car, As her first new car, she thought she was doing the right thing by bringing her car in to the manufacture. To build a relationship with a service As her first new car, she thought she was doing the right thing by bringing her car in to the manufacture. To build a relationship with a service department close to her. Never could I have imagined receiving the call I did following the interaction she had with you. How dare you? How dare you talk to some one in such a way. I hope you never speak to someone this way. I hope that you take some time to think of how something like that would make someone feel. Who do you think you are? You are not the bank, you are not the dealership that sold her the car in the first place, you are a service advisor. Your Job primarily being responsible for managing customer requests for maintenance and repairs, providing excellent customer service to customers, writing repair orders, communicating with customers about the status of work, collecting payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments, & selling additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate. Not to make comments "you're lucky you came back to pay or else I would have hated to come to your house and repo your car" in a condescending tone with a smile on your face. If your store policy required payment in full, you should have just said that. Rather than telling her it was okay to do her daily limit the day of pick up and the remaining balance the following day. More

The experience at island ford and with Dave was utmost comfortable, experienced, knowledgeable , and wonderful experience I could of ever asked for out of a dealership . The no pressure sales experience w comfortable, experienced, knowledgeable , and wonderful experience I could of ever asked for out of a dealership . The no pressure sales experience was everything and more I could of asked for when purchasing my brand new truck. I left feeling safe and understood with nothing pulled over my eyes. 6 stars for a review should be an option! Thank you again. More

The woman (not sure which one) on the other end of the phone wouldn't let me explain what I needed done. She just wouldn't shut up. Just came home with our brand new 2018 Escape SEL - Love it! We just bought our third new vehicle from Island Ford. The first two have always been serviced at Island Ford (prev. Ken Evans) by a great, knowledge We just bought our third new vehicle from Island Ford. The first two have always been serviced at Island Ford (prev. Ken Evans) by a great, knowledgeable, thorough staff, who have always taken the time to make sure we understand what is needed for the service or repairs. When it came time to trade in our much loved 2002 Taurus (yes, still a great car, but it is simply time for a new vehicle), we didn't really need to shop around, as we'd been so well looked after over the past 17 years. When we met David (through a quick check in with service for their help with introductions) we knew each other instantly just by saying hello over the years. David is friendly and caring, just what I would expect from this exceptional team. I know from years in customer service how important his obvious joy in meeting and working with folks is to the dealership. We felt that he really wanted to make this deal work FOR US. We are thrilled. Love the colour, love the feel of the vehicle, and know that we are being well looked after. A huge thank-you to the team, and a special thanks to David. Ann & Bill Dickie More

Premium care warranty and service We have bought many vehicles from Dave and would recommend him and Island Ford to anyone who is looking for a vehicle, I certainly wouldnt look anywhe We have bought many vehicles from Dave and would recommend him and Island Ford to anyone who is looking for a vehicle, I certainly wouldnt look anywhere else to buy or do business with. We recently had a mechanical issue with our Flex and island ford was excellent, big shout out to Cathy for always keeping us informed, looking after our best interests, and making sure we were ok. The final cost of the claim would have been over $20,000 but thanks to the Premium Care that we purchased when we got the car, there was no cost to us! If anyone ever waivers on buying the extended care, give me a call, I wouldn’t think twice ever again. Big shout out to Edie for making sure we didn’t compromise our purchase. We live in Victoria and the drive up the Malahat is well worth it even in any construction season. Don’t look, shop, service, or think of anyone else but The team at Island Ford for anything you need! Once and always part of the family! Thank you all for everything you have done over the years.
